Time to Stand Up? AGM and fan discontent

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

@johncrossmirror: Wenger 'Our policy remains the same: produce our own players, 60-80 PV of our own players, English players and the rest must be top class'

God I was just waiting for that old chestnut. Now lets hear about how many seasons in a row we've qualified from the Group stage

Fuck me - Arsene Wenger and Ivan Gazidis - the kings of the 'cut and paste' speech 2006-2012

@SheWore: 3rd trophy is to qualify for the CL. Those words will haunt him. 1 league. 2 CL. 3 CL qual. 4 fa cup. 5 league cup.

@DarrenArsenal1: AW "5 trophies to win (includes ECL place) signing players people don't ask about league cup"

@johncrossmirror: Wenger says Arsenal compete for 5 trophies, one being Champs Lge qualification. 'A new player doesn't want to know if you've won lge cup'

@BlackScarfAFC: I like Wenger's optimism - at every AGM he says he believes we'll have a good season (haven't heard 'Judge me in May' yet) but then we fail.

@10akhil: AW gives an example of being in top 4 or winning europa league. Top 4 better for club nut europa better for the manager. #afcagm

SO ITS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED - QUALIFYING FOR THE CL IS A TROPHY IN WENGER'S EYES :D :D :D :D :D

Why not fill in the blank corner above the away supporters with a picture of the CL every year between 1998 and 2012 because we've played in it every year. What a prize fool. Thanks for the ammunition though :barscarf:

@10akhil: AW- in a big community, you get smaller communities and they may not agree but we must be together. #afcagm

@johncrossmirror: Wenger says 'the medias' creates different communities within clubs. Mmmm....

@BlackScarfAFC: Anger directed at the Board, not the manager. Spot on, in my opinion. It's the Board which makes the key decisions.

@johncrossmirror: Wenger has just shown supporters due respect. Top man. Hill-Wood makes another snide remark. What a contrast. Totally unacceptable. #afc
