Swansea game thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Wenger, " the players were distracted by the impossible noise made during the BSM demo march".

Swansea were passing it around us, it was difficult for us to get the ball. We can't pass like they do, we cant defend as well as they do. People having quite got used to the level of the players we have in the squad, yes their underperforming but if the best we can ever achieve is the 4th place trophy then i dont want to know about it.

All the focus has been on us getting rid of dead wood but what difference does it make it the first eleven don't pull their weight?
I was at this match last year and we were lucky to win , Swansea played great football but lacked bottle when it came down to it probably as newly promoted. Apparently they were great the other night and they must have fancied it today against us .This lack of forward options is pathetic , had RVP got injured last season we would have been tenth

I dont always agree with your points Kiwomya, but you're absolutely right.
Who bought the players? Who shoves them into the same dreary formation week after week? Who plays people out of position, seemingly for a laugh?

Nothing to do with Wenger? Jesus wept :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Well.. you want to get rid of the dead wood because you want to do what? Because you want to free the money and with that improve the team and the first eleven. Swansea was very good today IMO and you need a top class team to beat them even at home if they play as good as today. Maybe it was motivation but maybe the quality was just not there? It's very hard to say if the problem is motivation or just quality.

What EVERY Gooner (who wants Wenger gone - and I am one of them) needs to realise is that it has to get even worse than this before ANYTHING is done....And THEN should he decide to go - coz the *word censored* on the board will NOT sack him....we then have to pray the *word censored* on the board actually get in someone who can 'do the job', turn it all around AND get shot of the deadwood shyte players in the squad AND buy in some fresh talent - talent who will be willing to come to a club that does NOT play CL football.

Oh! and yes, Bye Bye Theo!

All Good News Eh!?! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I didn't think I could feel any lower about this board/wenker situation but I was wrong.      :censored: :banghead:  :suicide:
