DORTMUND CL GAME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Obviously now I will be attacked again, simply because folk aren't insightful enough to see we remain all gooners and want the same thing but have differing perspectives. If I were in the majority then folk that say 'wenger out' 'arsene is a cnntu' 'AKB fcking pathetic sheep' would be the WUMs. Simple. Like it or not, that's how I feel it is.
There's definitely a lot of truth in that - some people will view you as a WUM because you don't agree with 95%+ of the active users on the forum.

Then again you do love antagonising people too

 lol mate, I genuinely don't mean to antagonise although I know full well taht it does. Imagine, if you would please, that you have my views and read some of the anti Arsene comments with those eyes... [a pause while you do]... and you would see that they would annoy as much as my comments do to the writers of said comments. Sad but true I think. :|

No harm in that, if it had been the other way round then I'm sure some wobs would have had their say
Difference being this fella is a wum. Every victory against the odds is somehow vindication for Wenger, it's pathetic.

Not at all, you are free to believe and say what you want, however you're on a deliberate wind up and you know it. You somehow think people who want the man gone don't want us to be successful. We all want to win, regardless of who is charge. But having sly digs at ''WOBS'' when you continuously claim to feel persecuted in the midst of angry abusive anti-Wenger folk is hypocritical.

Anyway, UTA. :barscarf:

Absolutely not mate. I have never said that folk who have the opposite view to me don't want us to be successful. If I have, point it out. I think you may have inferred it but I certainly don't think it. I am aware that it annoys folk when I say things but likewise vice versa etc etc and I have stated many a time that we all want the same thing.

I wouldn't doubt for a second that all folk (gooners anyway) hereabout, want us to win and it is clear from the anger and passion, that folk show at times, they do care.

Anyway, as you say - UTA

I just wanna say how great it was to watch a champions league game against one of the favourites and it meant something again! It felt more like the second leg of a quarter or semi final in the GG days. Backs against the wall and real solid defending. The only other game in the last few years to match it was Barca at home. Onwards and upwards! The team spirit and confidence going to Manure knowing we can win at last! COYG!!!!!!

First of all congratulations on the win. Strange game, first half no speed at all. First shot from Arsenal is a goal and then you defend very well and we are lucky not to get the second one. Think in the end the Ref should have given the pen, but never mind. Everything is still possible (besides Marseille going through) in that group, we will see.

Cheers,
Thomas

Btw: Good support from your away section in and outside the stadium

That really wasn't a pen, would have been very very soft. Lewandowski was looking for it (cheating *word censored*). Don't forget we were denied a stonewall penalty as well ourselves when your keeper flattened Kos.

Michael Moore is indeed a Gooner, I remember seeing him at the Grove a few years back in the halcyon days of paying for our rip off season tickets, but if that's Michael Moore, then I am Arsene Wenger :-P
