As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thats how many corners and free kicks?
I think a bit of perspective is needed, whilst it was a poor goal to concede, you can break down every single goal every scored.
Defensively we are much more sound, and that im sure is down to influence from Bould.
I think there's been a bit of exaggeration about how bad it was defensively. It was the biggest game of the season and one of Sky's showpiece matches so they had to make out it was a far more interesting incident than it was to gloss over the fact that the match was something of a damp squib and fuck all else happened.
You can highlight errors in any goal and whenever I've played in a system using zonal marking we've always still had 3 men to track runners, but ultimately it was a well-worked move, a great run and leap and shoulder or not he's put a difficult header into the top corner.
And lets not forget that Judas knows exactly how we set up for set pieces, because Wenger never changes anything.
Got a 2month old on my lap refusing to sleep in the cot so I'm on the sofa. Night time tv is awful so thought I'd revisit this thread.
I just do not understand how Bould can sit there watching this crap unfold for 6 weeks. If we can't go forward with the pace we had then make us difficult to beat. Not more open than a cheap tarts legs on payday.
He sits next to him and does and says nothing whilst our club is being humiliated by tactics a 12yr old could have mustered.
We have made tactical geniuses out of Mark f**king Hughes and the kid manager that is Garry Monk.
If he is just taking the money and keeping quiet then shame on him.
Stand up for this club and for your own professional pride FFS Bould.
Now rant over back to trying to find something not terrible to watch. Thank the Lord I'm off tomorrow.
He is on 1 million pounds a year , for that sort of money I'd be quiet .
Wenger has surrounded himself with people that have little experience or balls and he pays them well .
Only him and Steve Gatting and Gerry Peyton have a footballing pedigree worth looking at the rest are Kit men or travel club runners who have taken the badges .
Wengers number 2 is Boro Primark whatever anyone else says and the sooner he jumps off the bridge with wieghts ,in his home town the better !
All other clubs get proper coaches in to help run the team ,Wenger does everything himswelf and doesnt listen !
I don't think he would let bouldy off the bench, I remember some seasons back when pat jumped off the bench to have a rant and we get grabbed hold of his arm and told him to sit down, which he did.
He's the boss and I cannot see ONE person here defying the boss and losing one million squid a year, not ONE.
I am sure he wants to cos he looks like he is fuming on the bench.

Maybe so and he's entitled to do that but then he doesn't deserve all this protection he gets from fans. Even you basically accept he's taking hush-money yet in the next sentence almost portray him as a victim for not being able to voice his disapproval.
Cheers for the great service as a player but clearly he's happy to plod along picking up his paycheque whilst Wenger continues to take the piss so as far as I'm concerned he's fucking useless.

He is pissing on everything he ever stood for and what the club used to be by allowing us to become everyone's laughing stock.
I am just a fan but this season more and more I'm starting to feel shame at supporting this club.
Surely he is embarrassed about the way they perform week in week out against their rivals.
What can he realistically do though? As long as Wenger de facto runs the club and has the support of Syrup Head then any dissent would be symbolic because If you rock the boat then you're out on your arse.
I'm sure he isn't happy about a lot of things but he's well paid so shuts up.
To be honest it wouldn't matter if Stalin was assistant manager while Wenger sits at the top.

Personally, if I was bouldie and I was driven by a will to succeed and not by money, then I would approach wenker and look to downgrade to the job I held before becoming assistant manager - surely any ambitious coach could not just sit idly by and not be allowed change things that obviously need changing ? At least working with the kids and reserves, bouldie will be able to positively influence players and teams as opposed to being a puppet that has wenkers hand up his arse A guy like bouldie needs to decide......is he there for the money or there to make a difference ?

What IS Bouldie actually doing at all?
Set Pieces? Poor marking leading to goals aplenty
Full Backs defending in their places first and foremost?- not happened for years, and journos the world over are talking about it
Mentality right? - nowhere near
Advising Wenger?- hardly see each other talk at all in a match
Tactical advise?
Advising Callum and others how to tackle while avoiding needless yellows? Callum- played 10 matches yellows 6
Advising how to change the tempo with subtle challenges
