Monaco at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is no team, the team sheet tells u that.No surprise as the track record of this shower against decent teams is infamous.Hate watching them, midfield is brutal,Coq and Cazorla must be the worst midfield pair ever to play at this level of football.Ozil and Mertesacker should not see the jersey again, enough is enough.Somebody has to put Wenger(and us) out of his misery.

No urgency from the outset - mental strength ? A leetle bit jaded ? Hand brake on ?

Bollocks, we had no tactical clue, slow paced, expecting to waltz to a comfortable victory.

ANOTHER disgusting pedestrian performance, with no consequences to either the players or manager.

damn straight.

at 3-1 we have a slight hope. but conceding three at home is disgraceful given our talent and resources.

if only jack and Aaron were fit eh ? :banghead:

Decent players not being coached properly. The occasional decent performance is a result of them doing it despite Wanker. When they are off-form, he is clueless to try to raise their game or find a way to just get through. He is the most under-performing coach in world football.

Scraping an underserved 2-1 defeat then not being good enough to hold onto it. It's beyond parody.

I hope the total and utter lack of respect shown to our opponents haunts the manager, player and fans for a very long time.

I don't care what anyone says....we were utterly outclassed defensively and offensively. Tactically naïve is a given from us in Europe, but lets not just put it down to tactics.....we were outthought and outfought.

Ozil is taking the piss out of us all. Welbeck is just the player he was at OT - a 4th choice striker for a top 4 team, a first choice one when loaned out to someone like Sunderland. Coquelin is the player he has been for the past 7 years (bar one month). Ospina is the slightly better of two average keepers. The BFG is still the non tackling, non jumping centre half he was when he joined.

Alexis is now so frustrated he is trying to do everything and if you stop Santi playing like they did in the second half we're left passing it sideways and barely register a shot on goal. Giroud is a flat track bully who just as you hope might have taken his game to the next level turns in a display like that again

we are perfectly cabaple of wining and scoring goals out there, but the does anyone trust the manager to set us up or the players to actually turn up?

we could well win but wont score 3 away from home

If we'd somehow scraped through and it would've been a scrape through as we have no class are are incapable of beating anyone above Everton (no offence to them but they're the benchmark of where we are) we'd have gone out in the next round anyway.
