Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How many times have you heard "if he stays fit"

I could understand if he went off after a bone crunching tackle but he went off after.......having a shot

I don't, I'd given up on him 2 seasons back, I hope I never see him in an Arsenal shirt ever again.

Yes... If I was a flat mate with him, certainly... but no, that wouldn't happen, as I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the dopey looking fucker.

Fitness the main one, another reason is I can do without it, I can also appreciate and remember the game better when sober. (I'm also not creeping out for a piss every 15 minutes)

Poor old Abou. I knew we were fucked once our talisman went off :(

Get well soon Monsieur Imperious

Best have an injury prone 'on his day but there's not enough days' than an always fit 'never will be' (hello Aaron, Craig, Vito, Sanchez, Olivier)

Diaby would injure himself meditating!!

You can't keep spending 60k a week on a fool who is injured all the time

Its really bloody sad because if he was fully fit we would have been stronger in midfield yesterday. Arteta kept winning the ball and passing it to Ramsey who kept fucking it up. I really cant stand the little dwarf Ramsey anymore. He is useless

Couldn't agree more. People call Diaby 'braindead' on here and jump on his every misplaced pass (of which there are normally a couple at worst). Yesterday it was like Ramsey and the Ox were having their own competition to see how often they could create a chance for Chelsea - in a 20 min spell in the 2nd half it almost looked as if the pair of them had been paid off.

Still I expect its Abou's fault for getting injured. I mean he wears a Spuds shirt, earns a million pounds a week (last estimate but could still be rising) and was single-handedly responsible for all 4 goals we let in at Newcastle

When Aaron Ramsey produces a performance to match the great Abou's at Anfield I'll start taking him seriously. But he won't, ever, because class is permanent and he hasn't got it
