If you look at his stats he's barely dropped off in the second half of the season but all our attackers have which has had what looks to be a detrimental effect on his play.

Yes he doesn't track back or get stuck in all the time but if we didn't have such a hopeless defence and weren't so bad at tracking back he wouldn't need to, his job is to be the outlet when we recover the ball and are going forward and distribute the ball to the best of his ability, i don't actually want my play-maker in a defensive position because he can't create anything from there.

He creates, we don't convert that's not his fault
He could score more goals, given the positions he gets in.

In addition, I've spoken to German fans about Ozil and there all pretty united in the view that Ozil is great for you when everything works around him but he's not the guy to help you out of a rut.

I dont think we are in a position to be selling players like Ozil.

He is top top quality.

Chasing back? WTF?

He's a creator, not a workhorse. If we had one or two top strikers to convert all the chances Ozil creates then we add at least another 20 to 40 PL goals a season.

A top manager would build the team around Ozil. 8) Imagine the club hadn't cunted up the Cannibal transfer? Imagine him feeding ( ) off Ozil's assists?

As for not turning up for the chav game? How many finals did Henry turn up for? :rubchin: It happens. Over the course of the season Ozil has been our best most effective player.

Breaking news.

This is an update for the fans about my current situation. I have kept quiet all this time out of respect and loyalty for the club and as agreed with Mr Gazidis and Mr Wenger, but since there is so much speculation in the media, I think it is fair for you guys to know what’s really going on at the moment.
As announced earlier this year I had a meeting with the boss and Mr Gazidis, this was a meeting about the club’s future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.
'I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days.
'Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.
'I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.

Fear not, this is what RVP said 4 years ago, but could history repeat itself?

Hopefully if he does leave he will just push for a transfer or hand in a request and tell everybody straight why he's going instead of a slimy statement trying to preserve his loyalty bonus whilst sucking Wenger's dick and making out he is doing the fans a massive favour in the meantime.

I'd love to see that too NB and it would be really refreshing to see it from a modern footballer but i have the feeling that any transfer request being met would include a muzzle clause for the player. It would be right in line with my views of Wenger and the club currently for them to ensure that any player leaving would be made to keep their reason quiet before being allowed to leave :rubchin:

There's a you tube clip titled, useless Lampost donkey Giroud wastes Ozil's assists.
Unable to upload it.

If ever there was a reason to leave us, this is a reminder.

No other strikers were available. And besides, Giroud himself said we didn't need any.

No he didn't according to some, i got called out for that statement a week ago mate.....

Anyway is it any wonder Ozil walks about looking like a bulldog chewing a wasp when you watch that back, he has more restraint than me because i'd be banging Olly's head off both posts and the cross bar just so he was aware of where the ball is supposed to go....some of those shot are frankly embarrassing for a supposed top class striker :banghead:

Fair enough; it was Wenker who said we didn’t need Benzema because of Giroud’s form (no doubt after Benzema told Wenker to go fuck himself).

However, from Jan:

http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/pre ... tory.shtml

"Tell me where we need new players? Just tell me where? I will explain the opposite judgment," Giroud said. "We have very good players as well on the bench, young players waiting to come in. They are very talented.”

"Danny Welbeck will come back in one month and a half,” Giroud said. “Theo Walcott can play up front, Joel Campbell is doing well with his national team up front.”

“If I am less good or get injured, we still have a solution."

That's the one Sean. Cheers.
Ozil has mastered the Anglo saxon in that clip.

Congrats on your exam pass mate.
