Had we used just 25% of this and signed eg a Higuain, or a monster holding mid and CB we would be miles clear of everyone.

Apart from the obvious issue of them all suddenly coming out of hiding and gloating,I don't think it would be the end of the world. After seeing them today they are probably favourites now given our away fixtures. Both of us have difficult games but we can only hope that their Thursday/Sunday schedule will take its toll.

Steve, you're right we should and have enjoyed our win but that lot winning has brought me back down to earth a little.
It's pointless saying they'll blow it cos they always do because that sort of form has to stop sometime. The stats don't lie this season, at the moment they are the main threat, they are consistent and in theory do have the easier run in.
I never want to see the title at their place, I'd rather shit in my hands and clap.

They are, as you say, serious contenders. It matters not why they are serious contenders, although you could probably argue that we too have been extremely fortunate to still be in with a shot given our results and performances this season
Spuddy I agree with you 100% that they are a small time scum club BUT, that will not wash away the dirty feeling that we would all get IF they won the league - that they would be winning the weakest league for over 30 years would be irrelevant to them, and having only won 2 leagues in their history, I don't know if I could blame them for taking that stance
