Barcodes at home Saturday 2nd January

Wenger in honest appraisal shock.. said we couldn't afford to go one down because we were not good enough to score two.. OK Arsene let's get with this honesty thing and say there is a most winnable title there but we need a bit more quality.. then go and buy that quality.

If he went with the honesty thing he'd have been honest enough to admit he should have gone 6 years ago because he was finished then,

Just back.....poor game to put it kindly but win is a win. Little energy/pressing in midfield....awful crossing (again). Oxlade- Chamberlain had a shocker (personally think he is overated), Walcott not much better and Giroud one of his lazy days.
Can't see us having a better chance than this year - let's hope the players have the commitment and passion to deliver it. :barscarf:

is it true that the Ox had no goals and no assists in 2015?

I heard it today but it can't be true

Ugh.

A clueless, impotent performance against a poor side - but a side which still looked better than us today. After the embarrassing capitulation at Saints I hope to fuck Wenker gets the wallet out, because we look a million miles away from title winners.

That said; we won whilst playing ugly, and are still top. :barscarf:

Think you'd have to give him the assist for the deflected Newcastle OG up there earlier this season. Did also score against Monaco and Chelsea last year from memory although neither in PL.

Either way a piss-poor effort from a player who is offering ever-diminishing returns. Just seems to be going backwards every single time he steps on a football pitch. What a shame.

Still, he's a social media hero though.

it really does make me sad, he's a big character who is bright, enthusiastic, and wants to prove himself but he is being frustrating, and letting himself down a bit. his confidence is low and it's starting to mount on him. can't help but feel with the right coaching he'd be fucking dynamite for us, but is there the right coaching at Arsenal?

him, and to a lesser extent ramsey have been a most frustrating players in 2015, with wilshere being third. can't help but be very worried about this "british core" of ours, the talent is without a doubt there.
