Southampton home game thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sits there, keeps his mouth shut, gesticulates like a prick in agreement with Wenger and rakes in a small fortune.

A whore, basically.

The ref couldn't wait to blow the whistle the baldy c.unt. Normally they wait for the attack to break down :cussing: :cussing:

Good boy Theo made an impact. He stayed on his right hand side and was a lovely opponent.

Well more points dropped against mediocre opposition but only minor booing at the end, oh well away to mighty Bournemouth has to be a nailed on win.... isn't it?

Time was we would go all season barely failing to score. That's 3 blanks in a row - two games at home and two against mid-table sides.

On another day we could have won the game but to be honest we just didn't do enough. Probably one or two saves of real quality from Forster, Sanchez unfortunate to see his effort cleared off the line but in reality very few clear cut chances created.

We turned up for 10-15 minutes in the second half. By the last 10 we had completely run out of ideas as Southampton cruised to a point in the face of a typical show of Arsenal 'mental strength' having given up after 80 mins.

Yes agreed should have let the attack play out, but he did us no favours all night

that said we should not rely on ref have to win it ourselves
