Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It does not look any worse than we are fielding just now to be totally honest. However , it would not be any kind of leap forward.

Kalou might be coming :barscarf: :barscarf:
Happy days - using the warchest to leverage a big £2m move for wonderboy Kalou

Apparently Wenger first wanted Kallstrom in 2001 when he was actually good and not crocked so he always gets his man eventually......Baba was right all along !
SteveO ..think last sentence should read ..apparently wenger first wanted kallstrom in 2001 when he was actually good and not crocked ,but waited 13 years knowing he would eventually get him cheap or free , and also he could learn the Arsenal way in the treatment room.

Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul, 28, is ready to follow in the footsteps of Sol Campbell by quitting Spurs to join bitter rivals Arsenal on a free transfer.

I can see it now, me in my new replica Puma top with Kalou printed on the back, standing in SteveO's back garden as the smell of kangaroo burgers wafts through the air while I stare blankly at the back page of The Daily Star which blodly declares that Le Gimp has signed on the dotted line :banghead:

Breaking News on SSN..Barcelona have been given a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows , it is in relation to the signing and registration of under 18 players from outside Spain...
Obviously this will have a knock on effect for Arsenal... It reduces the options by one of who we can sell our best players to.
I imagine that in time that ban will be overturned.

I don't know if it will apply to the tea boys or bar staff because that's all I can imagine Song does at Barcelona these days.
