Absolutely undoubtedly.

To get home fans singing at all is amazing, but to get them singing "6% you're having a laugh" is a huge stride towards a protest. Arsenal's home support is normally dead.

And at Fulham on the last game, that "spend some fucking money" chant was the most venomous I've heard at an Arsenal match. It wasn't widely reported on the TV but it was loud and clear.

I have no doubt whatsoever that a couple of bad results this season and it'll be practically all out war. The board cannot afford to have an empty stadium all season so they will be left with no choice but to sack wenger. Trouble is, no other manager will put up with their lack of funding for players.

Groundhog Season for Arsenal FC IMO.

If we needed the cesc money to buy mata (as is being claimed on ssn) then somebody within the club needs to be asked some serious questions - we have made trannsfer profits for almost all of the past decade and yet are still playing the pauper   I could understand if we had already spent our budget on the defensive side of the team (centre back, DM and lb) but that aint happened and doesnt look like it is gonna happen either so wtf is going on ?

Personally I dont understand the needing of cesc cash to buy mata anyway - surely mata would be a replacement for nasri anyway ? Sell that french *word censored* and use his transfer money and buy mata and maybe having another spanish international might appease cesc too

I'd rather a committed Cesc stay, but he appears set on returning to Barca (and who can blame him?) and, although we usually try and keep dealings private (virtually impossible these days) I think that we should we make our position public. "Cesc wants to leave, we won't stand in his way but the price is 40mil. If the deal's not concluded by the Champion's League qualifer he'll be playing in it."
The ball is then firmly in Barca's court.
Cesc's contract's not about to run out so we shouldn't be in a hurry.

So we spent a total of 3 mill this year and they are saying we need to sell cesc to buy mata things are just not adding up .Surely we have more money to spend with the likes of Liverpool and Leicester .Love to know where that 40mill went a couple of years back .

SPEND SOME FUCKING MONEY :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

If we dont sign anyone, and dont acheive - serious questions will have to be asked.

I had no problem last season - the defence was an issue - BUT WE SIGNED TWO CENTRE BACKS ($15m spent) - so the effort was there to change things. We did firm up a bit at the back i thought - but the obvious, simple problems were still there, they were mitigated by the loss of our key CB but its still wasnt good enough (ie set peices).

Now, we only have two centre backs good enough in my opinion - TV and LK (who im a massive fan of, never shirks his responsibility despite being thrown in the deep end and will only improve after a year under his belt) which is clearly not good enough. Gibbs at left back is at best a risk, at worst a joke.

As i say, im not like a lot here and writing a season off before it starts.....but this is the first year that NO effort has been made to change things, so if things go badly - questions needs to be asked.

The CB issue is baffling. Wenger admitted this was the area he needed strengthening. But the problem seems to have been a complete lack of effort or willingness to pay ANYTHING over 10 million for a defender.

Wenger seems to place no value on these players, despite the fact that no team wins anything without a good defence. 15 mil on just ONE defender would be something. But his value of defenders is seriously skewed.

I too like Kos, I think he had a good first season for someone thrown in. But how can Wenger ignore what EVERYONE is saying. Someone in the staff, or one of the fucking players must have mentioned it to him. It seems its a case of the emperors new clothes.

When u see how he kicks a ball, and also look at his below average playing career, I just can't help but think that this fraud lucked out when he first arrived with the riches that he inherited. How can he judge any player considering that he doesn't know how to even kick a fucking a ball, talk about being in the right place at the right time!! He's a fraud of the highest order!!!
