SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Stories of Higuain, Fellaini, Rooney and Suarez joining us are just for laughs. How many people can honestly say that they believe Wenger will bid more than £20 million for any player? Even if he has £300 million to spend he will still go for cheap and unknown players like our first signing of the summer

Villa was not going to Spuds. He just waited for a spanish club who are going to play in the CL....it is allways going to be exspensive for Pl clubs to buy foreign player...the is then allways 20% higher

In Spain the president is head master of the Club. Especielly when it is election year they have to be macho and show who has the power and WHO is to be elected again. He is talking the price up and invites other clubs til make an offer...none of us has not got the clue what is going on at the moment

No Arsenal offer for Gonzalo Higuain yet says Real Madrid president Florentino Perez
If Higuain doesn't sign for us, I (and I am sure, many others) will not know whether to laugh or cry...

How about Kaka?
He's no longer in Madrid plans and his value is 10m, that is a good price even for Wenger.
