As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

yes mate all true....everything up to now suggests this, but .......

But technically he did win it, he beat them twice, it was the other slackers in the league who failed him. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

I think his willingness to spend big will be determined by how much pressure he feel's under from the fans and their protests - if he casually dismisses them (as is his way ) then I doubt he will spend "big" cos his arrogance wont allow him to do it, but IF he feels under any kind of pressure and wants a new contract then he might actually spend big
If ozil and/or sanchez leave in the summer, then I hope it happens early or at least they come out early and say that they want to leave - their departure will largely be negated if le cock brings in other top players, but if they leave or announce their intention to leave early, then no real top player would/should be eager to join up cos of the question marks about the future direction of club.
I think that the club are in a conundrum this summer - the fan unrest and the media questioning wenger has not been good for the club regardless of what some on here think. Regardless of whether ozil and sanchez go, would other top players sign for a manager that looks like he is heading out the door just 12 months later ? What happens if the new manager doesn't rate them and wants to go in a different direction ? Would you want to join a club in those circumstances and especially when that club is in the midst of internal unrest ? I think that the club will HAVE TO give the c.unt a new contract this summer if they intend signing any quality players, and that is when the shit MIGHT hit the fan - for starters if ozil and sanchez no longer have faith in wenker it will drive them out the door for sure, but secondly I think that there are a large number of fans that don't want to drive le cock out this summer but who would not be happy to see him get a new contract. If you ask those who wont protest against him and those that want him to see out his contract, if they would support giving him a new contract, I would suggest that the vote in favour of that would be quite low

I'm assuming the bit I've highlighted in red in your reply is aimed at me and Spuddy and for my part I'd clarify that I'm not saying it isn't bad for the club (any negative publicity is, to some extent) but what I have said is that if much larger numbers of fans don't protest and the media don't get on board fully then the protests will not generate enough unrest to force the board to sack him or force him to walk away.
I'd also repeat that I really think the upcoming distractions of the Euros is going to dilute the unrest and push it off the sports pages to the extent that alot of Gooners that are currently sitting on the fence will edge back to the AKB side with the start of the new season.
Pretty much my position too except I would go a bit further and say that the reason I think the protests are not effective is that the party you're protesting about has to give a shit what you think.................Arsenal don't.
They should and if the protests were coupled with player unrest and departure then as a joint thing they'd have to have some impact but on their own I don't think they'll do much.
let me make this very clear.......It isn't that I don't want them to work. It isn't that I'm some closet AKB. It isn't that I don't think it is right. It's just my honest feeling that these thick twats running this club are impervious to them on their own, that's all.
I also wouldn't shed a tear if Wenger went this summer. He won't though and he will at least see out his contract. I pray that he doesn't sign another one but you can bet your life he'll be offered the opportunity to.
Having said that, I'll never hate him with the vitriol shown by some. He has done some great things for this club in the past. I will never forget the pleasure of watching that team from 98-2004. I know there are people saying that he deserves no credit for that but that isn't sense talking, it's emotion.
That's my position in a nutshell. So disappointingly for Itchybabatwat there's no confession of being an AKB.

All his extremely limited intellect will read from that post is "I'm an AKB".

Jeez for a small man you have some amount of paranoia in you
For the record I wasnt cutting at you or spuddy or anyone specific at all actually. I can understand why some people believe that the negative publicity wont affect the club, so it isnt as though I was rubbishing anyone's opinion on it. It is my belief however, that the negative publicity cant but bring negative attention on the club - I dont think it will worry kroenke at all, but for someone like gazidas who is trying to market the club on a global scale, this kind of attention does not help him one jot
Heres more evidence of Wengers man management skills, from Ray Parlours new book apparently...
When Parlour went back to train with the squad in 2006 he was apparently shocked by the lack to team spirit, and there was a toxic atmosphere in the squad with Team Captain Gallas and Fabregas ignoring each other
Whilst it is common players do not get on with each other, Parlour said Wenger did not get involved as he does not like confrontation
A manager on £8 MILLION a year and avoids any confrontation, nice work if you can get it

Paranoid? Huh? Who said that??!!!
But no, wasn't accusing you of cutting at me, but rather just wanted to clarify my position in case anyone thought I was saying the publicity wasn't bad for the club. I just think it's not enough. Not yet anyway.

This just makes me ask a question I've asked a million times before; How in the name of sweet fuck did we get to a stage that William Fucking Gallas ended up being our captain?
I seem to remember he was the "captain" that ditched our lovely old tradition of the captain deciding on sleeve length for match day jerseys. Good enough for Tony Adams but not apparently for the arrogant cúnt Gallas.

Decided last night to go against my previous decision and am planning on purchasing parlour's book - generally speaking I dont like reading modern day footballers books cos most of them are chav f.uckers who live identical lives to that of the hundreds of players in the premier league I especially dont like reading books from the ex players who still have wengers cock in their mouth and who constantly defend him in public Parlour's career with us spans two different era's though, so I intend buying it to read stories from his time in the TA6 era
I downloaded frank mc lintock's book but I havent started reading it yet but I am looking forward to it

I swear ye mods are like a tag team lining up to take the piss out of me - no sooner has one of ye f.ucked off, when another comes in to have their pop at me
Is it cos I campaigned for better mods ?
