I watched the first few minutes of sunday supplement this morning and they were talking about the future of lvg - the journo's suggest that manure should either give him a new contract or release him this summer, because as ferguscum said a few years ago, a manager going into his final season is basically a lame duck. A few months ago I would have hoped that would have prompted le cock to walk away, but now I think that we all know that he will soon sign another undeserved contract

I was reading a paper yesterday (the sun is think) and a journo was ripping into lvg.
Basically saying they play awful football and if they don't get top 4 he should be sacked.
The double standard regarding our "manager" is astounding.

It is and has been (for the past 8 seasons at least) all if, but's, if only's could have, should have - What we all need to accept (in order to minimise the pain) is that wenger will NOT change - His arrogance is beyond compare - yes he may make 2 signings at the very most - but they will be from the sale self in Aldi and even then he will haggle.....

We are fecked no matter how we look at it. Sad, Painful but True because we have a "Fool" in charge - He has been given free licence and reign to do what he wants, how he wants - and so with that amount of power he will continue along the same track of failure he has for way too long.

The same tippy, tappy sideways & backwards
The same no shooting from outside the box
The same no practising defending
The same over long contracts for players who should be shown the door (anyone see him kicking BFG out this Summer? No me neither)
The same all eleven players are captains instead of having one person bollocking & driving everyone on
The same medical team - and thus chronic injury patterns with injuries galore which also allow him to make up the same tired excuses of how had so and so not been injured and then when they come back the player is like a new signing and and and and

Can't believe that we got 2nd and Giroud scored a hatrick! Great to finish above the scum and for any Arsenal player to bag 3 but I can't help but think both are going to be used as a justification for keeping our manager and proof that we don't need a new striker

Always happy to finish ahead of the scum, especially in these circumstances.. But this one is coming at a massive price..Wenger vindicated, Giroud vindicated, Not spending vindicated all because (I can promise you) Wenger will say at some point that Leicester winning the title is a one off freak and of the "natural" title challengers Arsenal finished the highest..
There will be no new striker now..So happy with Tottenham's collapse with one point from last nine but it doesn't vindicate Wenger or Arsenal in my opinion.. I may be in the majority on this forum but am certainly in the minority outside it.

One of the many things Wenger has ruined about supporting Arsenal is that the line between good and bad / winning and losing ... a line that should be clear ... has become blurred.

For far too long there is that nagging voice in the back of the head that tells you that bad results are, temporarily at least, for the best. And at the same time, as you rightly say, what should be cause for celebration comes at a price

All the top 4 finishes and the FA Cup wins etc. have led to Wenger getting new contracts ... and when you are desperate for Wenger to leave the club, then its impossible not to see that ''success' as tainted.

I just do not have it in me for another season of Wenger's Arsenal. Im bored with next season already!

That statement is so true, we are so used to AW's Arsenal that every season is the same and we can accurrately predict exactly what will happen, and after 10 years it is boring, i'd actually enjoy us having a really shit start to the season, just for the change of pace, maybe even as bad as Chavskis, just so i could enjoy the matches again, not sure what that says about me as an Arsenal fan though
