Just thank fuck it ain't gonna be Ramsey. His self-absorbed ego would expand so fast and so far that he would go into backheel/flick overdrive and a rip would appear in the fabric of the universe.

Does it really matter who is captain ? None of the c.unts are leaders anyway, so the appointment is purely cosmetic. Seeing as he was comfortable appointing a non playing captain last season, I am surprised that he might snub the current vice captain (bfg) and give it to someone else :o

It's okay - he'll coach that out of him. 8)

Mad bastard anyway - popping off shots at goal when there was easily scope for another ten or twenty 5-yard passes! :eh:

To be fair DB10 I don't think Ramsey has an attitude problem (beyond the general mollycoddled soft centre that basically our whole squad has).

To me game has always come across as quite grounded - and the shambolic episode with the Wales captaincy should have extinguished any delusions of grandeur.

Sadly his persistence to aimlessly flick the ball at every opportunity and to pass the ball straight to the opposition in our half seems to arise largely from Wenger's "go out and try your best" guidance whilst not telling him that those things are woeful traits for a centre mid!

Although to honest signing something like 4 contracts in his first 5 seasons here and being crowbarred into the side regardless of merit must give him some inflated sense of self-worth.

Erm... make your mind up!

TBH I think there deffo is an ego problem and an attitude problem there. That whole season he was playing brilliantly he did the post match interview for 99% of games and you could tell he loved the attention, loved talking about his game etc. Then the Messi impressions started - a sure sign of an ego gone out of whack.

His attitude on the pitch stinks; the waving of arms if every ball doesn't go through him, the moaning at other players, the constant having to be involved in every move, and then thinking he is a truly gifted technical player which leads to his over-elaborating on the ball, slowing the pace and ultimately losing possession.

I couldn't really care what he does off the field, as long as he's blindingly good on it. And he's not, nowhere near in fact. And he does have a Messi type complex, thinking he needs to have 10 or more passes in every move.

Tbh I think he's absolutely crap. Hearing good things about him off the field though. And Wenger likes him, so hey ho.......

Ramsey is one of the worst midfielders in the league, that's why he's bashed constantly.

What does Ramsey do other than kick the ball out for a throw in to the opposition? Or passing it to them? Or slow down the counter attack? He does NOTHING to benefit the team whatsoever and each time he starts it's like we're ten men down.

When he was injured we played a quicker, more effective game. Ramsey is a terrible footballer who should be nowhere near Arsenal FC.
