The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

But how many of us would be confident that it wont happen ? Deals like this replicate what we have seen with diaby, the worlds greatest Danish striker, denilson etc in previous years and now we are facing it with mega deals for wally and olly  These deals only confirm yet again why the argument that the club hadn't a pot to piss in was a load of bollox :x

To the next sap that ever trots out the money line: Giroud, a guy that wouldn't have been picked ahead of Villa's main striker, a guy who is 3rd choice for his country (who aren't exactly blessed with strikers), that hasn't scored a PL goal for 530 minutes and counting, a guy who has never scored 20 PL goals, and who has an abysmal goal record against the Big 3 teams...is being offered £130k a week.
That's more money than Lewandowski is on, double what Reus earns, £30k a week more than Muller of Bayern is on (his agent confirmed ManYoo offer of £200k would double his wages), the same as Henry earned in his final season, far more than Lukaku earns etc... What a massive joke and huge mismanagement of our resources. It doesn't even make sense to rush to reward him like this - not as if Real and Barca are tearing doors down to sign him?
But it's obvious why it's being done. It's a massive ego show of confidence by his fellow Frenchie, meaning no other money will be spent on quality replacement. He'd soon overpay mediocrity (as he did with Diaby, Denilson, Eboue and Bendtner).

This is my favourite - just in case the non-existent bid for Benzema doesn't materialise for the sixth season running there's a mystery man on the way.

Can it be Kalou or Remy once and for all ?

Absolutely right. Wanker is the biggest propaganda merchant going. I honestly believe he thinks we're all imbeciles who lap up every bollocks story he spouts. For years he didn't even bother with trying to buy players, then we all got fed up of his stupidity and started asking questions, this then led to ridiculous cover stories that were never believable like the time he 'tried' to get Kaka on loan- Kaka and Denilson in the same midfield, eh? Now, he's evolved his propaganda to make himself seem like he has a grand, secret master-plan which will only be revealed in time. This latest crap is his response to pressure from previous summers; he's a sly, manipulator who knows that fuck-all is happening but shit like 'mystery' player, make it look like he's actually doing something. He's getting more and more like the leader of a cult every day, stringing along desperate zombies who believe he has some magical power and great mystery to reveal. He's North London's David Koresh.

Looks that way even when we got money we don't spend it for me we only two good players from a real go at the league
