He has no tactical nous, he's not a motivator and he doesn't know what to do during a game when things ain't going to plan.
Having said all that he should definitely take it if it's offered to him :D
Sounds a bit over qualified for the England job!

 Sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! He might hear you we want him to fuckk off asap mate!.

I can see how this is going to play out now.

Wenger is being linked (all be it tenuously) with the England job and I'm sure that there will be people talking about him for the vacant PSG job.

He is shrewd enough to realise that he'd be on a hiding to nothing if he takes England and he'll be under pressure to deliver at PSG. Unlike at Arsenal where he controls everything, delivers nothing but trousers £8.5 million a year.

The champagne socialist inside Wenger will calculate that he can sell this as "demonstrating my loyalty to Arsenal" and sign a 2 or 3 year contract extension, thereby staying on board the cushiest gravy train on God's earth.

I can't wait for Groundhog Seasons numbers 13, 14 & 15 :banghead:

Arsenal are planning to keep manager Arsene Wenger from England’s clutches next season.

Wenger will certainly see out the final year of his contract next season, but, speaking on Tuesday, FA chief executive Martin Glenn revealed he’s prepared to wait up to year to ensure he appoints the right man.

But Arsenal are already looking towards opening talks over an extension to ensure he stays.

I'm done with this until he leaves. I'll never stop supporting Arsenal but I am not going to let myself get so emotionally invested while he is at the club. We all know what's coming.

And BTW if anyone was wondering,as far as Wenger is concerned the transfer window is already closed as nobody has approached him begging to come to the Emirates.

A minority of us on here said this would happen. Very few believed us. I'll say it again. He will be offered a new contract and he will sign the fucker. It will happen. He will leave when he wants to leave. No sooner, no later. He runs the club. He runs the team. He runs Gazidis. He runs Mediocrity Stan. He runs the Board. He is Arsenal. I am seriously losing the fucking will to live with this fucking club. :x :(

More evidence as if we needed it.....

"I want him to stay at Arsenal," said Hill-Wood. "He is not a young chicken. He is 66 and he would be 67 when his contract is up and turn 69 a few months after the World Cup. It is quite senior to be in that sort of role."

Pip Botherington-Smythe-Hill-Wood is right, Arsene is not a young chicken. He is a turkey though.

It's all a game that Wenger and The board play - a bit of friendly cat & Mouse Banter -

wenger: " I will stay until the end of my contract - I believe in loyalty and honouring what I have signed "

The Board " We understand Arsene dear, dear money maker...But if you could just sign here - only for another 2 years (btw: Here's a nice little extension bonus AND a little salary increase of 15%) just till we can find a replacement - which we all know is impossible Arsene"

wenger: "welllll, if you put it like that , yes okay mon ami" - (scratch, scratch of pen on paper) - Smileds all around the room - kerchhhinngggg as the shares stay stable and increase by 8 - 10 5 at the news.... - They shake hands and then fall about laughing as they choke on Champers (from Vienna) and Strawberries (from Florida)...then the 'escorts' from Corporate Entertainment .Com come into the room...the blinds are drawn...and...

......Then the likes of you and I are royally fuckked up the wotsit for another 2 - 3 years - till the next 'negotiations' take place between the grinning evil bastardd that is clueless and the boardofubercuntts who all get richer and richer by the season while we see Our Club become a laughing stock of an embarrassment in the world of football.

If I left this forum today, and returned in 12 years, I could look your post up, quote it, and it would still be relevant and not out of place. :(

We are now Arsene PLC. :(

This shit will never end. :suicide:

He's already been offered a new contract. Months ago. And far from being "a minority" I think you'll find that most regular forum members reckon he'll sign. I on the other hand reckon he wont. He's already decided the 16/17 season is his last imo. And so have I......
