Giroud will never be world class, but interesting how his 2 goals came about. The first was an early ball after a few passes and the second from a free kick played into the box from 30 odd yards. Neither were after a series of short passes. And the free kick under Wenger rules would have been a 1 yard pass to start a passing movement. Perhaps we ought to blame the tactics as much as the player.

The thing is though, those comments reflect worse on Moron-hio than they do Wenger.

Among managers, the LMA, most people in the game, and the media, there's a line no manager should cross - taking the piss out of another manager based on trophies won. Those comments make Moron-hio look like a petulant spoiled snide little prick. Which, of course, he is.

Remember that time Maureen called Wenger a voyeur? Talk about things going full circle, I don't think I've ever seen a manager so obsessed with another as Maureen is with Wenger. He literally can't stop talking about him in every single press conference. A horrible piece of sh1t.

I agree with both of those comments lads BUT, in the arrogant c.unts head he got lambasted by the English media last season both over his results and his treatment of the chav physio/doctor - he see's that le cock gets a free ride from the same media (something we have all complained about), and he is probably pointing out the double standards employed by those same media w*nkers.
That being said, it also has to be recognised that wenger is almost always open with the media (did anyone mention oatley ? ) whilst the portugese c.unt has often picked arguments with them and certainly wouldn't be as approachable to the hacks.

Oh agree, wholeheartedly, early crosses would play to his strengths, tip tap passes ad infinitum just leave him floundering

True. Also, if you look at it not from our perspective as Arsenal fans sick of Wenger, a lot of the English football media have a bit of a soft spot for Wenger because he often comes out with quite entertaining remarks at pressers and can be quite charming, open, and self deprecating, whereas Moron-hio only comes across as arrogant, rude and self-aggrandizing at his pressers.

Alot of the football media still have more respect for Wenger (rightly or wrongly) because he built his early success by revolutionising not only Arsenal but the PL as well, and he did it by building on the great English Back 5 and playing beautiful aggressive attacking football. They look at Moron-hio and they see (rightly) a jumped-up snide little prick that can only achieve success at the highest level when he has a fortune to spend on the best players - and then produces only dour boring economical football.

TBH I think you are both wrong. Giroud has been involved in dozens of great goals scored by using tight little passing moves in and around the box both as scorer and assist-giver. Tippy tappy is not a struggle for him as he has a good first touch (especially compared to Welbeck). I think where Giroud is useless is in that lone striker role that demands a pacey runner getting in behind the back 4 onto a through ball as he has zero pace. And unfortunately for him we play the lone striker in a shit 4-5-1. :|

Mourinho not a happy man...really not sure why he's started off slagging Van Gaal, Giggs and Wenger....there must be a plan to it ....maybe to create a siege mentality....or maybe he's just a miserable wanker.....cant really understand it :rubchin:

Mourinho can say whatever he likes about Wenger because he knows Wenger hasn't been a good manager since 2004.

The last few pages are verging ona Wenger Love In !!!

Yes Moaninho is a despicable little chav oikcunt - as a person - which definitely tumble sover into his job as a manager because of his over-sized ego - his narccism and his just being a prick....Whereas wenger once a most excellent manager is now well passed his sell by date by a decade - But would probably be okay as a person, polite, erudite and charming...

Aaaaah No! This really is turning into a wenger love in - Where's Rodders when we need him to put it right with a few succinct words.

Moron-hio would win nothing at Arsenal. He would not get the money he would need from Kroenke.

And this will be a problem for whoever replaces Wenger. Kroenke will not invest serious money in rebuilding the team.
