I'm not blaming the fans by the way last season was so dull because of the formation and the lack of form from many of our players.
It's not looking good at all but the club is becoming very rich or maybe making Kronke even richer.
How many exactly ?? As far as I am concerned they can all fcuk off cos not one of them has shown an ability to turn in quality performances on a consistant basis and especially against the big teams
Anyway let me suggest to you that the really top players (not the cheap imitation type) are interested in being successful more than they are worried about some booing from the fans
For me, we have two really top quality players; Ozil and Sanchez.
"Top quality" as in they would get into most big teams as starters. Our problem is because of the shit system, moribund manager, and the dearth of any other truly top quality players, those two cannot put in consistently high quality performances.
I've always said it; top quality players play better with other top quality players.
Agree with you BUT, my point was that whether they stay or not is not gonna be the difference between us winning the league and being also rans AGAIN. As much as I love different aspects of both players, they are not Bergkamp, PV4 or TA6 and they will not put the team on their back and lead us to glory, so the world wont fall apart if they leave
Agreed, but also I remember Bergkamp was a far more effective player when he had Henry, Pires, Vieira etc to play with rather than Hartson, Hillier and Selley.
If Sanchez and Ozil leave then we have zero top quality players and we would be worse off for it. How much worse off is debatable of course...

Cant make my mind up if I'm in the "throw the baby out with the bath water" mood, or if I am looking at the bigger picture - if I said that things are stale within and around the club I would be grossly understating things, and right now I am feeling that we need a massive incident to wake the club and some of the fans from their comatosed state. Would their be a massive backlash if one or both of those players left ? We have a recent history of being unable to keep our "star players", but I would suggest that the star players are limited now plus fan tolerance for these departures is almost at zero.
Sometimes we need to go back to go forward, and an inability to keep star players despite being in champs league and having this so called brilliant coach in charge, might finally cause a seismic reaction and the overdue questions might be asked

Yeah, I know what you mean. We are, as a club, stagnant and moribund - and we probably need some huge setback to snap our fans out of their stagnation. But tbh I think almost anything could happen and most of our fans (certainly the JCL Conglomerates attendees) would give Wenger extra support. I honestly believe that would be as a direct result of the banners last season. The banners (honourable and justified campaign that it was) unfortunately had a unifying and motivating effect on the pro-Wenger fans and the undecided fans, and made them publicly more vocal in support of Wenger.
I'm curious as to which would force a bigger reaction from the club and to a lesser degree from the fans ........... missing out and champions league qualification or losing ozil and/or sanchez I assume it is a safe best to assume that most fans wouldn't care about missing out on top 4 at the mo, and I agree with the thought process that the club would back wenger if it happened under the theory that he is the best man to get us back in ( ), but how would the wenger sheep react if ozil and sanchez fcuked off citing a lack of ambition in the club ? How would the board react at the undoubted reaction from the fans at losing these two players ? I am one of those fans who believe that at least one (if not both) of these players were purchased by the board over wengers head in an attempt to appease fans on the verge of rebellion, so how would they react to these departures ?

Sanchez and Ozil were the players I was on about. I really have no clue as to what Wenger is thinking. They will both leave if we fail to show any ambition.
It does not even make buisness sense to let Arsenal fall behind the other big teams and if Kronke wants Arsenal become even richer then success can only help.
BUT Augie no player wants to play in an toxic atmosphere which is what the Emirates has become because of the lack of ability and form and set up of the team.
I honestly thought after last season he would see sence and go into the transfer market guns blazing so to speak. I know it's not his style but a fool knows we need to strengthen.
Fans would react very very badly to losing those players because that's why they spend their money to see top players and a competing team. Something has to give

I also believe they were bought over Wenger's head. As for fan reaction? There would be banners (allowed of course) in the ground with this on them;
"In Arsene we trust!!!! Who knew O$il or $anchez 4 Y'R'S Ago?"
...and being held aloft by our old mates, She-Ra and her sister Captain LesbianBeard.
To be fair DB10, I think that the days of she-ra and her infamous banner are gone - yes we will have undoubted shows of support for wenker, but I do feel that you wont see banners like that again (unless redaction discard their neutral position to again publicly back le cock )

if I were Sanchez and Ozil I would be quite happy with the way things are at the moment.
they are both probably a bit tired after all the matches they have played with Germany/Chile and know they can come back to Arsenal for a rest with zero pressure for the coming season after hitting the heady heights of 2nd last season.
they also will be aware that Wenger is about to start his final season, and so will be happy to hang around to see if his successor is any better.
the problem will be this time next year. if Wenger signs a new contract then they will be gone. no doubt they will have a RVP style chat with Wenger where he explains to them that if they want to win anything they need to move to bigger clubs. Wenger then no doubt will be happy to sell Sanchez to Man City so that they can win the CL.
if Wenger does not sign a new contract then it all depends on who comes in...but we are nowhere near that at this stage...
Unfortunately, Ozil is only as good as the lump we have up front. He's no Bergkamp either (not many goals in him and is usually too pussy to shoot). Giroud's dry streak did for Ozil's breaking the assist record. Ozil with Giroud is like a drill with a blunt drill bit.
On the other hand, Sanchez is a lion surrounded by donkeys (and managed by a fraud).

The *word censored* just will NOT fuck off will he! FFS! What has to be done to get rid of the uselesstwat.
Wants to stay at Arsenal...buying a lot of young players for the future....looks rather ominous
I think that it is more to do with the undoubted pressure that will come with the England job - no manager will be afford the type of freedom he is afforded at AFC and results will be king with the meeja and the fa. Funnily enough I think he would do ok as an international manager until of course it gets down to the tactical battles at the business end of the championships, and there he will be found out - I suppose he will be no different from all those going before him
