The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Or in the first team for the last decade

Wenger has f**ked this one up; waiting too long as usual; Sanchez will go back to Italy; and we end up with Remy!!! Any truth in the story we are loaning the barcodes Joel Campbell to sweeten the Debuchy deal?

5Live were saying earlier that we will sign Sanchez, interest from Juve notwithstanding.

Apparently Sanchez's 1st choice is Arsenal, not interested in Liverpool.

So expect Juve to announce his signing immediately followed by Wenger saying he was "never interested".

Dunno but I hope we loan him to someone as he's not that good and we'll be disappointed if he were to come to the Emirates.

You have to laugh really.

All the latest talk about Goalies Navas & Ochoa and what do I see on Sky today? - 'Arsenal tracking Forest keeper'

I just thought it was hilarious.

I don't understand why we keep getting linked with 1st choice keepers.

We just need a backup for Szcz. 2nd most clean sheets in the league last season. Best distribution in the league last season.

Joel Campbelll is certainly more ready than both Sanogo and Gnabry - if anything, they should be the ones loaned out.

I agree with this although I think Sanogo is underrated and was instrumental in our FA cup run.

A 33 year old top quality keeper is probably available from Madrid at a reasonable price......would you not buy him then ? For me every transfer we do should be an upgrade on what we already got and casillas would be an upgrade on chesney imo
