As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I too have never felt so absolutley pee'd off with the bunch of lying, double headed, triple faced cun.ts. BUT..as much as we all come on here and 'vent' and share our anger, dis-belief and frustrations.."We" (all of us) MUST Do something.....I haven't listened to talkshyte for ages...But a mate texted me and said to 'tune in' last Monday night to the Sports Bar Show (10pm - 1am) - It was dedicated to Arsenal - and the number of Gooners that phone din to vent their utter despair, disgust, dis-illusionment and very real ' hatred' for wenger/kreonke/Gazidis and the board was amazing - Andy Goldstein said it was one of the best call-ins he has ever known in all the time has has been doing the show (3 yrs???) there were 2 Arsenal or rather Arsene fans who called in saying that Wenger knows what he is doing and that (one commented) 'with our settled team this season, we would win the prem' - goldstein lambasted him - He wasn't being pro manure - But simply playing devils (truthful) advocate....I tried calling in but it was constantly engaged....the reason I mention this is because we ALL have apart to play in 'upping the stakes' in making wenger & Co know exactly how WE feel.
So besides coming on here and sharing how we feel - and venting - Can I suggest we each take responsibility for writing to the club, each board member the same photocopied letter will do - pointing out All the Lies, Inconsistencies, the level of distrust and embrassment that has now become the presiding face of Arsenal FC. Call in on the radio to whomever will listen and call it like it is - WENGER & The Board OUT! - We have to use every means available to us at every opportunity - And yes, I already hear some saying 'what's the point' blah blah blah....etc - But coming on here only will achieve nothing.
I guess we could always organise a petition - how many Gooners are members on here - everyone sign it - we get it printe doff and make a very Public Display of handing it into the club....wear the E I E T shirts- or the new:
"Get Out Of My Club Wenger" T shirts etc....
We cannot allow this embarrassing farce to continue - and I am more than happy to help organise something, if others are willing to help?
Otherwise we are just continuing to pissing in the wind for longer and longer and longer.
but hey what do I know.
Good post. The problem is as I have found when we did the banners last season there are a lot of people who like to moan but precious few who will get off their Arsenal and do something. In reality there are probably no more than a couple of dozen out of 60k crowd and may be a few more away that would do banners. Most supporters are either major AKBs or "I'm going to support Wenger as long as he is the manager" or just happy they have got a ticket and don't care.
Yes agreed, the only way the Fickle tide will turn is if results start to go through the floor consistently, near bottom by December scenario..........
Then that Emirates crowd will turn.....In the end it may be quicker than we think

So we have 2 options either he will not pay the required money because he is an accountant and finance is very important or he is told from above he can't pay that money.
I think it's a mixture of both. Very few posters on here seem to be as angry with Kronke as they are Wenger.
Again our problems are a mixture of both. I don't see a new manager being allowed to spend the type of money that at least 4 clubs in the Premier League can.
Arsenal will never win the Premier League while Kronke is in control of his buisness. That's all we are now.
Not sure I agree with this. Hasn't Wenger himself said that transfer funds have never been withheld?
Just let the manager identify the players and then let someone else negotiate the fees. Other clubs manage it.
I absolutely agree with you. Wanker is responsible for targets, fees and transfers and that's why we end up with nothing or mostly shit. On both sides of the money issue, I find him totally at fault. He's either not used the resources at his disposal effectively and should have been sacked years ago for gross incompetence or if money was being withheld, he should have been banging on doors, causing a fuss and using his influence to get money to buy players in order to improve the team and compete. He's completely to blame and completely incompetent.
Its common knowledge Wenger sets a top value on players he targets and wont budge over it.
He sees himself as some sort of high priest of football economics and anyone that doesn't agree with him he deems unworthy of his time.

I actually thought after the move to the Emirates that Wenger was restrained from making proper signings, and that he would bring us back to the levels of 2004, how wrong I was. I always pinpoint the 2008, and 2009 January transfer windows, as proof of Wenger's real priorities. In 2008, everyone said we should sign a striker, as Adebayor was going to the African cup of nations. Of course, Wenger knew best, and signed no one. The season went up in smoke, after that thug broke Eduardo's leg. Yet fast forward a year, and as soon as the VT was in doubt, Wenger signed Arshavin. The guy only cares about the money league, nothing else.

^^^ This 1,000% ^^^
He really is an egomaniac - to the point where anyone even daring to question anything he says or does are immediately off his xmas list - off the Arsenal gravy train and are treated with absolute disdain. I know Bouldy gets paid handsomely for putting out the cones - But FFS how on earth he can sit there and not say a fuckking word.
If he were in charge of a small country there would have been a coup de'etat long time ago...
Edit: After Jacqui Oatley quizzed the cunnt last season - He got so pikey apparently he went storming into the offices raging and cursing and told the PR team she 'never interviews me' (or any of the squad) again, a phone call was made to the BBC and since then she hasn't been put on any sports assignments remotely near to the bowl or in any way related to Arsenal... that speaks absolute fuckking volumes.

The writing was on the wall as soon as Kroenke took over, anyone with an interest in American sport can see the relative inactivity of most of his sports teams there. They tread water for the most part.
I used to be against the fat Uzbeki slug but oh how wrong I was, if the model of foreign ownership is infact inevitable, then you embrace it whole hog and run with it.
Oh how we mocked Man Utd for their USA sellout back in 2005, How we laughed at them - We are the Arsenal, we don't sell out to foreign owners, we don't want their sort.

Wenger, Kronke and Gazidis really is the perfect storm.....going to be difficult to dislodge them
Once Kranky has got his money back that he initially invested, he could sell. He's a moneymaker and if he can make a billion profit he will. The big question is, who would buy? Is Usmanov still interested at 1 to 1.5billion £??

yeah one things for sure Kronke aint in it cause he loves the Arsenal
Never saw him up the Northbank in the 80s or Gazidis come to think of it
You do understand that if Wenger wanted to pay £85 million or whatever for a player to strengthen us and push properly for the title that he could?
That its Wenger that wont pay the money because its over his valuation. That its Wenger that dithers, low-balls and fucks up our transfer windows? That its Wenger who decides who we buy and for how much?
The money has been made available by Kroenke for years Wenger is too cowardly to spend it.
As for Gazidis, he really is sending out mixed messages. Couple yeats ago he was on about us being able to compete. Now hes telling us ee cant compete.
Something seriously wrong. Just cant wait until Wenger leaves.

Sadly he never sells his clubs. Kronke has become very powerful in Sport. There is an article on him in the Mail Online today.

5 years ago I looked into Stan Kroenke and realised he was the biggest problem by far at Arsenal.
Wenger remains the "short term" problem but Kroenke and then his son may well leave a legacy at Arsenal far more damaging than Wenger will ever do.

I agree. So many people get caught up in the Wenger hate that if you dare to suggest that there are other (possibly bigger) problems at the club you get labeled a Wenger lover or a Wenger apologist by complete morons.
Wenger is a problem and has to be removed, but at the end of the day (nominally, at least) Wenger works for the club. The club is owned by Mediocrity Stan and if Wenger is not delivering, he should be sacked by the owner. For Arsenal to ever get back on track as a high profile successful football club we need Wenger gone but equally we need Kroenke and his family and Gazidis gone too - maybe even more so than Wenger.
