Great win tonight!

:barscarf: :barscarf:

There would be tons of negative things to say regarding tonights game. Please don't make me start on denilson... :banghead: But First things first...

Fabregas is a hero! He's the heart of the team and has taken a bigger dimension again this season. The thought of him being only 22 gives me shivers down my spine. I thought for long that he was going to be the next Xavi, but in reality he's like a DragonBall Z type fusion between Xavi and Iniesta. The perfect Midfielder.
Rosicky's flash of brilliance for his goal is sufficient credit to our expectations towards him. He's a classy player and if he can stay fit till the end of the season, I'm sure we'll see much more of what he's capable of.
Arshavin really looks like he can't be bovered. Was poor on the first half. His talent is so evident to see that it makes it even more raging! I think he starts to be quite pissed by his central striker role. But his goal just shows how poisonous he is to the opposite side.

All three of the players mentioned above are, in my eyes, the main threat to our rivals. They are seen as technical players, with skills, capable of scoring at any time if left some space.

What I loved the most about tonights win is the way we won. It was plain dirty.
We started showing no character whatsoever. We were being, as we are usually when we lose, dominated, not by technique, but simply mentaly and physicaly. However, apparently, Wenger wasn't all wrong about his tactics. He's right on one thing. This team surely has more spirit than the previous ones. Lets not kid ourselves. Bolton were never going to let us play our game tonight. The would surely resolve to bullying as it is known to be a good "technique" when opposing the Arsenal "kids". Well I don't give a flying f*ck of what anyone has to say about Gallas on the coming weeks. Hell yeah his tackle was nasty? And so what? We've been bullied for the past 4 years by the likes of Bolton. All teams considered us as moaning prima donnas because we would always moan about teams bullying us. Well... I'll quote a famous movie: "Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy? Or are you gonna bite?"
Well billy certainly wants to show to these kids that he can bite, and that they can too. Some fouls made by Rosicky and Arshavin as well were fouls of experiences players. Breaking the tempo, but not enough to get booked. TV was brilliant again. Showing steel and consistency. Love the guy! Who give a f*ck about Vidic? We have TV!

To sum up, I'm proud of the team tonight! Bolton put their mean faces on and we smacked it back at them. It finally looks like this team is grabbing some balls!

To a more negative side again... We desperatly need a quality striker up front as even if I like the guy, Dudu is just lacking some height and some weight. With all the skills he has, he's not fit to be leading the line. Neither is AA....

I just wish they wouldn't keep passing the ball back to him.
Agree. He seems to be semi-competent if he is called into action regularly, which he was against long ball-ton.

I cant wait for the talkshite mob and the rest of the sky media bandwagon to whip up a "sportsmanship" debate over us not kicking the ball out for an ankle injury when no foul was given, with the customary Arsenal witch-hunt of course. Regardless of the fact that any other team in the league would have played on from that position.

Same old arsenal, always cheating

Its seems everytime he starts to have a run of games he ends up injured again! i think he's been fantastic in the past few weeks...

That is like saying that almunia is one of the top 3 keepers in the league   Off the top of my head I can remember him dallying in possession (again) 10 yds outside off our box and when he lost the ball he then tackled their guy from behind a gave away a free kick right at the edge of our area  I think (though I aint sure about this) that their 1st goal came from this free kick but I do no that himself and clichy both made a total balls up of clearing the ball from the danger area before cahill scored
Anyway diaby hasnt been anywhere near fantastic in the last few weeks and if you think so then you are clearly mad cos he has been largely anonymous in both the everton game and the game at the reebok and if he never played for us again I would be rejoycing :barscarf:
Diaby was awful today, really awful.

I agree...we are really lowering the bar when Diaby's performances are considered as fantastic.

Nice result; as stated by others, good to see some ball's from the lads. Ref was a total *word censored*, did the weaseley little fucker even bring his cards out for the first half? And boltons time wasting in the first half as well, *word censored* :x

Although this was my first trip to the E******S, have to say i kinda liked it; there was a good level of noise, and i liked the way the curvature of the roof made it feel all closed in.

Could defo' do with a striker, hell, even the danish streak of piss would of been some use tonight (why fucking cross the ball to a bunch of midgets?!)

Just read on twitter that Gallas won't be charged. Waiting for official confirmation but if the ref saw it and played on then there's nothing they can do.

Apparently they don't like it up 'em

execellent recovery, but shocking defencive performasnce, they looked like scoring everytime they went forward, notably performances:

alumnia, did well but a more authorative keeper would sort the defence out probably.

clichy was shocking, and has gone backwards, if you can get 10million for him in the summer take it he is no better than traore. gibbs can be 1st choice.

gallas was superb, as was cesc

arashvin did well he did a hell of a lot of closing down and chasing.

diaby, like a dilso at the start.

denilson, anonymous, provided no cover.

rosicky, increasingly good the goal should do him wonders.

eduardo, despereately needs a proper (ie one he makes himself or scores from 25 yards) goal to boost his confidence. he looks scared (justifiably perhasps) did some decent hold up work, but wasted to good opportunities. 5 year contract!!!

ultimatley though, wenger must spend to capitilaise on the position we find ourselves in. he wont though which will be a traversty and the sole reason we wont have made the most of the slips of manu and chelski this season.

A recent survey illustrated most people from Liverpool have had sex in the shower!

In the survey, carried out for leading toiletries firm 'Brut', a whopping 86% of Liverpudlians said that they have enjoyed sex in the shower.

The other 14% said they hadn't been to prison…

will never forget the very first time I learnt the meaning of optimist and pessimist in primary school. I always remember because it was difficult for me to believe that some people are created to go through life believing that only the worst will happen to them. I cannot even call myself 100% optimist but I can understand optimism. I’m a realistic optimist – i.e. – I believe that the best will happen to me and works towards it but I recognise my limitations and try to minimise them. I also take joy in my achievements, big or small. As I mature and became more exposed to the larger society, I began to see pessimists but I still couldn’t understand pessimism. The Arsenal Doom&Gloomers are some of the world’s worst pessimists. I do not understand them still but I appeal that we treat them like other members of the society with special needs. If AFC wins EPL, CL and FA cup, they will whinge about missing the Carling cup and moan about how it is the greatest trophy ever. Great Doom&Gloomers, I salute you!

There are a number of people on here who judge a player and never accept that player can turn things round. Diaby has been on a good run of form and was great against Villa and Hull. He wasn't bad at all last night. The 50 yard track-back and tackle he made before marauding up the field and launching a 40-yard ball for Eddie to smash over the bar is evidence of his ability.

No-one at all has mentioned the appalling clearance made by Cesc that led to the penalty, only Denilson's equally bad tackle. If you're going to berate players at least give them credit when they deserve it, and berate the darlings when they fcuk up too.

What I do agree with is Denilson is not good enough.

Well I tend to be in the rose tinter camp, but I am seriously worried about Diaby.

Eduardo's lack of confidence is still a cause for concern, but I'm glad the supporters got behind him last night.

Arshavin - haven't seen too much of the class he's supposed to be known for lately.

Theo - who knows - apparently he stomped off very angry at the end of the game - anybody know anything about this? But please stop booing him - it's not going to help.

On the positive side, very good to see some creativity and a goal from the man formerly known as sick note, and good to see the team pull together in the face of adversity - some shades of the gritty Arsenal of yesteryear.
