the only person i blame for today is wenger. bitterly disappointed
today was an oppurtunity to get one up on chelsea since they slipped up and we fail to capitalise once again

I remember sitting there when we were 1-0 up after a scrappy own goal and thinking "They look good today and we're starting to showboat". Just as I thought that, Giovanni slammed one in.
I then started thinking "If we're not careful this could all go horribly wrong" - just as I thought that, Cousin's header flew past Manuel and the rest as they say, is History!
All of which is totally irrelevant cos we're gonna win 3-0 today. Unless of course we start showboating and West Brom "do a Hull" . . . . . . . .
I was actually joking when I posted that this morning!!
Just got home and still can't believe what an inept performance our "superstars" put in.
We can add this one to the list that includes:-
Wigan (a) 2-3
Blackburn (a) 1-2
Stoke (a) 1-2
Hull (h) 1-2
Brum (a) 2-2
Brum (a) 1-1
etc. etc. etc. Each one because because too many players just expect to beat "weaker" teams without putting in too much effort.
* How many more shit performances will it take for Arsene to see that the balance in the squad is wrong?
* How many more shit performances will it take for Arsene to see that he needs to spend just a fraction of our huge profits, rather than stock-piling as much cash as possible?
* How many more shit performances will it take for Arsene to see that the back four don't work as a unit?
* How many more shit performances will it take for Arsene to see that Almunia is a League 1 keeper at best?
* How many more shit performances will it take for Arsene to see that Eboue and Diaby are lazy, dopy, careless and way, way short of what is needed to compete with Man U / Chelsea?
* How many more shit performances will it take for the home crowd to boo louder than they did today when Diaby trotted off and each time Almunia touched the ball after the 3rd goal went in???
I agree with all you've written but this because I just can't imagine booing my own team in our stadium, I don't know any other way to get AW to get rid but I can't honestly agree with booing our own players at the Grove.
Not that I am at matches every week but I can't fathom doing that either. As frustrated as i am I am 100% behind ther team all 90-whatever minutes no matter what. There's got be a better way.
Banners?
Flags?
Keyrings?
Car stickers?
We could paint ****'ys taxi red and white then have it dragging dolls of Almunia and Diaby at the back with a rope around their neck outside London Colney??
Burn the witch sorta shit going on here????
How about a commemorative shirt with the words I spent over a grand on my season ticket and all I got was a dodgy spanish waiter, a polish clown and 3 tossers(Abou,Emannu and Deniiiiiiiiiiiiiil).

Now that's the kind of thing I could take a liking to
Nothing will change under Wenger, the man is inept, negligent.
He alone is responsible for the players HE puts on the pitch, their attitude, tactics (sic) and any personnel changes in game. He fails miserably on all of those.

I posted this in another thread just now
Agreed - I love what Arsene has done for our club but it's not just the keeper.
Eboue and Diaby were absolutely SHIT today - they might as well have put blue & white striped shirts on. And Arshavin - brilliant on Tuesday, looked like he couldn't be arsed today. Playing with the handbrake on?? Playing with 8 players more like!! They seem to think that teams like West Brom should just fuck off and allow us to showboat our way to 3 points.
When the 3rd goal went in, Arsene just stood there. Didn't say a word to anyone, didn't call anyone over to pass on tactical information or instructions where to make the changes that were so desperately needed.
I was sat right behind him and couldn't help wondering why he's so quick to leap on the 4th official time and time again but slow to remonstrate with his under-performing players.
Kind of makes you wonder if Arsene is able to adapt to the changes that are happening in top level football . . . . . . .
He should have made the changed so much earlier. Things were not going our way and he should have had the balls to bring Diaby and Eboue off after 30 minutes.
Just got in from the game and what a load of s**t!
Al is actually my all time worst player. He is just completely crap, words can't describe how crap he is. Wenger gave him the opportunity again this season and what does he do 4 or 5 games in? F**k it up.
The whole team apart from Nasri were shockingly bad. I don't remember the last time I've seen us play as bad. It was like everytime we got the ball, we'd just give it away. Diaby, Song, Eboue caused more problems than anything. Arshavin had the opportunity to put a good corner in X amount of times and failed every single time.
WBA deserved all 3 points today because they played well and capatilised on the joke of the team they were playing.
With regards to Almunia, I don't blame him personally because I know he is s**t, everyone knows he is s**t, WENGER KNOWS HE IS S**T and thats why he put a bid in twice for Schwarzer. I blame Wenger, this defeat is his own fault, he hasn't addressed the problem which existed last season.
I thought going in at half time Wenger would go in and shake them up a bit like when we were playing Liverpool last year but no they came out and within seconds they were losing the ball again.
Fair enough its early days but we just can't afford to lose these types of games if we want to challenge for the title, its simply not good enough and some of them players today really need to realise what The Arsenalis all about.

Almunia has always been average and Wenger's disastrous pursuit of Schwarzer has only made the situation worse. As bad as the team played today, if you have a fairly reliable keeper between the sticks, you can get away with the other 10 men playing poorly and maybe scraping a draw or an undeserved victory.
I hope Wenger is squirming tonight because as EVERY Arsenal fan knows, we needed a World Class keeper and yet again he failed to deliver, believeing that we don't need to spend on that position because we will always score more goals than the other team. Well Arsene my son, you should know by now that footie doesn't work that way.
Just so fucked off

Were you at the game today BG? if so I commiserate with you, as I know the empty feeling when you travel for a game that should be a formality, only to be dissappointed.
A word of advice , don't let it spoil one minute of your night in what I consider to be the greatest city on the planet.
i was watching the game at home mates, my post was sort of a pisstake... i watched from ESPN brazil as usual...
i'm really upset today. it's like seeing a disaster that you expected to happen. it's really sad.
i just feel for you fans right now..Every one of you"s.
We have a bloody fantastic team and its a crying shame that we wont win a thing again this season.
Look..im gonna admit something to you all.
Im NOT the best cabbie in london because i make mistakes.
But( i know some wont believe me)when i make a mistake,i admit it to my customers and take some of the fare off accordingly.
I dont think Arsene wants to admit hes made a terrible mistake over at least 1 player.
IMO its NOT a sign of weakness admitting your wrong.
