Hmmm.... couldn't disagree more.
I thought Arshavin wanted to come off. He looked like he'd run out of energy, and wasn't keeping up with play.
Taking him off was, in my opinion, the only option - personally, I thought replacing him with Theo's pace would have helped at that point, but Rosicky does work very hard.
Agree with that. I’ve always found augie’s unconditional defence of Arshavin almost SteveO35/Diaby-esque in it’s tenderness.
Agreed!
Arshavin was extremly poor today, and was his usual lazy self as well. But, as always, he still has an assist for sagna's goal. AA is in a poor form at the moment, but he's still very valuable in our team.
Arshavin is our most direct attacking player and in a team that is often guilty of over-elaboration he is valuable indeed. However the second we get a 2 goal cushion he should be hauled off.

Don’t think he was that poor in the first half to be fair, and there’s no denying he always has the ability to produce that one moment of magic. Although I’m not sure I’d give him too much credit for the assist, it was nothing any professional footballer shouldn't be able to do in that situation.
But by the time he got taken off he looked like he’d run out of steam & wasn't offering anything anymore.
Not just for the goal but thought Sagna was very good today. Solid, threw himself into everything, decisive and controlled even when decisions unfairly against him. Clichy take note.
Couldnt understand why Wenger didnt bring on Walcott for Arshavin .The Nasri run proved Everton were short of pace at the back and Walcott would have been a great out ball.
Song didnt get booked which was a miracle. He must have some pictures of Howard Webb with Graham poll in the showers
Clichy still a liability. But Sagna superb.Chamakh and Nasri ran their hearts out
And people can cut out this shit about squillaci deserving a red. Saha's touch was AWAY from goal and into the path of clichy who
was tracking back. Its about clear goal scoring opportunity, not last man.

Yeah, always thought Sagna’s a bit harshly rated, especially on here. At the moment though he seems to either put in a quality performance or be utter shite, there’s no middle ground.
Agree about Chamakh's workrate too, hope Bendtner was taking note watching at home - in between admiring his reflection in the screen obviously.

the only reason coleman put it in was because clichy stopped at the whistle, i thought yellow as soon as he committed. good, tough game, webb really struggled to show authority though
good performance from the boys. Really happy to see us grind out the 3 points. Center backs played well again, I think they're a very good partnership.
we seem to have no ability in closing games out and seem to panic in defence at every attack, I just knew they would score sooner or later. There is a certain frailty that needs addressing. We haven't got players who receive and hold the ball for any length of time, this is not their natural game.
