Gervinho....

Well I won't be happy till we sign a top class CB ready to walk into our team.

However, the Gervinho signing has made me, for the moment, 'not unhappy'.

I think this is a good point here - especially with the uncertainty for differing reasons about the future of several players in roles he can play now or in the near future. He is a promising player if not the ideal choice. I can't say I am overwhelmed by his signing but in fairness I'm not underwhelmed either. If this is a genuine start from hee and we do address the more pressing immedaite needs suffieciently going forward it won't have been a bad start to this summer at all.
