Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not on the evidence I've seen thus far to be fair. He's a fucking quality footballer. Just wish we could actually get some support to him. He'll leave after this season and go somewhere much better and be a huge success, mark my words
Like a mid table Championship side!

A goal and an assist, he's just saved bruce's job. He's a class above anything else we have and Bruce is fucking lucky to have him, if we win this game he should suck bendtners fucking dick for keeping him in a job

BBC:

Sunderland goal: The fightback starts here. Possibly. It's a neat build-up too, with Stephane Sessegnon's pass being backheeled into Nicklas Bendtner's path by Seb Larsson, and the Dane's shot being deflected past Ben Foster by Gareth McAuley.

Bet he was cupping his ears to the West Brom fans after that one.

The deflection didn't make it a lucky goal, was going in anyway. I'll do a full report later but if you want to criticise the boy, watch us on football first and TTY claiming he wasn't a class above all our other players (or don't, we're shite to watch, don't subject yourself to it!)

quite nice to see that Bendtnah can be pivotal somewhere. Hope he scores well so we can get a few quid for him.

Well, the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFgVy7b81-4 might not work (I'm on train, I'll sort it out when I get home!) but anyway, if you fancy a new bendtner chant, do the one we were doing post match. To the tune of walk of life by dire straits:
"when he gets it, nicklas bendtner he nets it,
When he gets it, nicklas bendtner he nets it (da da da da)
When he gets it, nicklas bendtner he he nets it,
When he gets it, nicklas bendtner he nets it (da da da da)

*at this point start jumping about, throw your beer around and let people threaten to kick you out the pub*

Da da da da, da da da da da da da,
Da da da da, da da da dada da da da da,
Da da da da
