Good result. We were a bit lucky but so were they with the two gervinho chances.

We got a point away from home, which gives us a base to build on - and that's all that matters.

A wonder strike earned them the point, thought we done exactly what we should have for years, weathered the storm at the start, took the lead, defended our lead for our lives, and very very nearly took all 3 points which would have been a superb result.

Unlucky Gunners
Good post. Agree with all of that
Great post! They did alright tonight, unlucky not to get the 3 points.

We will get better! :barscarf:

already impressed with benyoun and arteta contribution and dug in well

typically it was the usual suspects Koscienly and Walcott that let us down - team did well and were unlucky to concede a wonder goal from dortmund

but again, poor tatical subs, that cost us..i'd rather of left gervinho and RVP on till the end

doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the box though.

Koscielny? Really? The fellah was immense in the second half, brave, strong, battled for every header, put in quality blocks, was touch tight. Didnt think he was a let down? Theo didnt have his brightest game but chipped in with a vital assist.

It was more a matter of bringing on Santos to double up on the left which is what i would have thought was a good decision, and some fresh legs up front, we was never going to be attacking in the last 10 mins that was fairly obvious, Chamakh was clearly sent on to challenge for headers and chase the ball down, dont beat ourselves up, we were unlucky tonight, yes they dominanted the game, its easy to be critical but there a fooking good team!

And Walcott got the assist. Everything he does that is good is through the middle at the moment. Would really to see him and RVP upfront together.

watch the first half again mate, Koscienly played the dortmund striker on twice and better finishing and we could of been 2-0 down, if he is going to play alongside Mertersacker for the next 2 months he has to learn to step up at the same time.
