Am glad we won yesterday, made waiting in the rain to leave the stadium much better.
Apart from being taken by the French police to the wrong end of the ground, and the most over the top body search they seemed friendly enough at the ground, there cannot be any part of my body they didn't check.
Lots of their of their chants were from people at the front with megaphones, the more fanatical fans were at either end. But it would have been good if they chanted the same thing as apart from when they seemed to sing to each other they cancelled each other out.
Will be interesting to see the atmosphere when the ground is complete as the new stand opposite was quiet all game and seemed to be the only people sat down in the ground. That may have been the way before the redevelopment, but it may harm the atmosphere.
A solid away trip this one and a good result to boot. A lot of Talk before the game was a draw would be a tidy result so happy days then!!
As for our support, quality with the depeche mode song for Ramsey.

Also a V strange rendition of 10 German bombers before the game!!

3 points and no real hassle of the pitch although we did drink in their staunch area before the game that didn't go unnoticed by many Of the locals. They clearly don't mix with anyone at all.

Not exactly a convincing performance but we got the result and for that I am happy. I cant see us winning the tournament with our current squad but who knows, if we get through the group stage and the draws are kind to us we could get as far as the semis.
