As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Flash youre not suggesting Baba can be wrong,i cant have that everything he says is right FACT
Putting FACT on the end of a post doesnt make it true ya know
Manchester United are targeting Everton left-back Leighton Baines, 27, as a summer replacement for ageing full-back Patrice Evra, 31. The Reds may offer just £5m for the England international.

You see, this is the sort of signing we should be making. Infinitely better than Santos or Gibbs - several years PL experience (as we've seen with Arteta there is no substitute for this) - playing at a club that are financially fucked and coming into the peak years of his career.
Alternatively give Gibbs a 4 year deal, watch him be injured for 3 of those years and sign Chubby Chekker from the Turkish league
.....but this is more likely the signing we will make. An unproven 20 year old that nobody else wants with no PL experience and who will take a 2 year 'adaption period'
Serbia international Adem Ljajic, 20, is a summer target for Arsenal. The Fiorentina midfield man's age and technical ability appeal to Arsene Wenger.
Whilst I want to see RVP stay I really do hope he doesn't sign a new contract any time soon.
The club are putting a lot of pressure on him to sign now ,but if he does so we are fcku'd
If he caves in the club will sign a few also rans and we will continue to tread water .
If he holds out and says I will stay but I want to see who you bring in before committing he may well force them into spending serious money on proven quality.
If he decides he wants out a good euroinjury free will see the Offers pour in but they will lose the last world class player we have and will not attract any more for the next 5/10 years.
Agree with herd. Unfortunately, if he did do that we're probably more likely to lose RVP because Wenger just won't have people thinking they know better. After all, when other players have tried that in the past (going back to Vieira) it's made Wenger even more stubborn in his ways and determined to prove that no-one but him knows what is needed!!

And we thought that it couldnt get much worse
So pissed off today......even more depressed than I was yesterday
And what is wrong with signing either of those two. If we'd produced a striker of Sturridge's calibre from our fabled wonderous youth academy I'd be delighted. Lupoli or Sturridge? Hmmmmmm
Dembele is fucking quality (not 'super quality' ). A player who is prepared to run at players at pace and commit the tackle. Wenger will happily sit him on the bench behind Gervinho and Benayoun
We won't sign anyone who plays in the PL already!!!!!
Wenger will sign more of the same this summer......young French/Africans from second class leagues, for peanuts.
A leopard does not change his spots and Wenger is a ****** of the highest order and certainly will not change his.

I'm assuming that the word asterisked out is not 'manager' eh?
A day late I know but yesterday's mirror and star both claim that sunderland have no interest in retaining the worlds best danish striker next season
No surprise really but there will be a certain mackem sticking pins in an o'neill voodoo doll over this decision
I shouldnt laugh cos I can already hear the "like a new signing" quote from the CIC
