Montpellier v Arsenal match thread

Very few people have been binned or indeed banned. Baba is fu**ing irritating but he has learned lessons. If you look back on this thread, there are a number of people far more abusive or wumming than him. I believe he's a gooner, an irritating one, but a gooner. If we banned all the irritating people on here we'd have noone left. :D

Lads, we can't ban people just because they annoy some of you. Babatunde is abrasive in his posting style but once he doesn't break the few rules we have then he is welcome on here. He was warned about abusive posts and in fairness he has eased off on that aspect. As my esteemed colleague Chippy said, if you don't like him just block him and/or ignore the quotes.

Basically, don't read it if it annoys you. :|

This.

People need to deal with it. I find him an interesting poster, one I disagree with on most things, but still one who has a right to an opinion.

Plus on the organized package I am sure the coach driver got lost trying to find Marseilles airport as at over 2 hours into the journey I started thinking we were driving to London instead. It was quicker to fly to Marseilles that the journey to Montpellier.

I am glad the Montpellier fans didn't want a fight after the game, as that dark footpath through the trees the police directed the Arsenal fans through would have been perfect for the home fans to sneak up on unexpecting away fans/through stuff at. I guess with local rivals there have been some fights there before.
Did you manage to find that path on the way to the stadium? I mistakenly went through the inital home ticket barrier with a few others and ended up having to fight my way through the trees in order to get to the away entrance!
I followed some Arsenal fans that the police had directed, it seemed to be the right was as after a strange walk we ended up at the away entrance.
