Villa match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chesney's distribution still hasn't improved since 2011. The twat possibly cost us the league against Liverpool in 2011.

You want overrated - Wilshere is the name you're looking for. He will be good in 3 or 4 years but at the moment not so much. We are missing Arteta and Carzola badly.
I was talking about him coming off his line playing rush goalie today.

I'm also talking about buying a GK, who is ready NOW. Arsenal is not an academy, we don't exist to train young and 'exciting' footballers. I heard the same rubbish about fabianski that he needs time, well he never improved. I don't like woj because his shot stopping is poor, he plays because apparently in x years time he is going to be great, but whilst we wait the team loses pts because our defence would be more comfortable with a more experienced GK, a better GK who can save more shots.

Yeah Villa are riling him up and he's just crying. Not enough playing from him.

And I'd agree. Faaaark we need a hard man.
That's what every opposition manager has been saying for years and will be saying for years.

Yes, I have played a game. In fact I played in goal for Arsenal at academy level when I was younger. I played in goal most of my adult life until it caused me to have three right knee operations on in six years and now I can't play. I can't even run without agony.

So yes, I have played.

Hope the fans invade the pitch if the match ends in a 1-1.

Knowing the AKB drones, they'll probably say it's a good start to the season like last year against Muggerland.

The only two I see constantly crying is that useless lump up front who has reverted to type since scoring and Basil Fawlty on the touchline berating the fourth official after about 15 minutes. Its shameful behaviour from him yet again

This is the reason why I've stopped going to the fucking games.

What's the point spending money on the highest prices tickets to have some RB playing at LB, having a nut head for a keeper and all round shit passing and play.

Caeser would have been the perfect buy but no, fucking no one bothered about it.

Experience is what that's called or lack thereof.

You want overrated - Wilshere is the name you're looking for. He will be good in 3 or 4 years but at the moment not so much. We are missing Arteta and Carzola badly.
He also nearly cost us a second goal because he needlessly charged off his line AGAIN

Look in front of your eyes for overrated - Chesney is the most overrated keeper in the league
Joe Hart? Agree though, he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Not sure about the pen though, as the ref played advantage and they hit the side netting, should they have had the pen too? :?

Back to the game, could be watching any home game against average oppo from the last 6 seasons, dominate without really hurting them.

Hey ho, 45 minutes to go :barscarf:
