Never a pen but ..Sunderland set themselves up not to lose knowing that they can get United back to Old Trafford ...Was it my imagination but was there a shake of the head in disgust by Bobby Charlton at full time ? Certainly it was a competition to see who had the glummest face between him and Fergie.

How can Moyes hope to get away with those after match comments ? " We are playing against the referees as well as the opposition now " (or words to that effect...). The man is pathetic , he wants to portray the image of a new Fergie and it isn't working. I imagine if someone like Martinez went in there he would respect the past but would be his own man. Moyes thinks he can intimidate by his pathetic glares and comments..Aint working David... Maybe Fergie went for this "chosen one" as he knew he would never emulate Fergie himself. I said it before on different threads but do not rule out Whiskey Nose managing United in the future.

Yes I can see it getting to the point where they find themselves so far behind the VT place that they panic and ask him to come back for the rest of the season, or he himself makes the decision to return as he clearly still rules the roost there. After this season though I think it's unlikely, unless they keep Moyes and find themselves in the exact same situation this time next year
