FA CUP 3RD ROUND THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Soldado was very, very poor wasnt he?

Also thought Sherwood set them up wrong. We totally dominated the midfield. It worked at OT for him so I suppose he felt it could work against us but when it was obvious it wasnt working he couldnt change it.

Also the fact that our whole team were so up for this and every one of our players had an excellent game with the exception of Rosicky who was feckin different class, sealed the deal. I kind of knew from our attitude right from kick-off that we would win this. I dont think it was ever in doubt from the first whistle. :barscarf:

I'm hoping for Peterborough before they close their away terrace for good. Think they still have to get through a replay though

The terrace was knocked down a few weeks ago

Nice one Shezza ! :D :barscarf:

Apparently when they were carrying Feo around past the scum fans - some of the scum fans were trying to get over the low wall onto the pitch, at first they thought they were trying to get at feo till they realised they were in fact trying to get to all the coins that had been thrown!

Had a quick perusal and was quite disappointed just how much credit they gave us and how they realise that they are far away from "the tide turning" bollocks that is usually sprouted.

Was funny to read about their " class of their fans - er. spitting at Sagna when he was being stretchered off at the shithole, Pires having a ball chucked at him, but Theo being giving stick and smiling and showing the score is below the belt

They appear to be quite happy to be out of the cup, strange for "a cup team" that hasn't actually won it for 23 years :) Never mind they are hoping that they can beat Palace.

At 4:15pm today, young Timothy phones his Dad and says

Timmy: Daddy don't know what to do, Wenger's named almost a second string, even this lot would struggle to lose against the mighty Arsenal 2nd string, Dad, what do I do

Timmy's Daddy Aka big time gooner of a gooner household: Calm down son , just tell them to play to their natural ability.....

Timmy: Nice one Dad, will do. Bell you later Dad.

At 7:30pm young Timmy takes a call from his Dad

Timmy's Dad : Nice one son, you done well, we forgive you for ever playing for that vermin.

Timmy: I didn't do anyfink Dad, I got stuck behind some big german bloke and couldn't get past him to do the team talk.

Timmy's Dad: Bit like the rest of your team eh son
