Tottscum match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A club that stood by him despite all his problems. He's been a bitter bastard since the day he left and talks out of his fucking arsehole. Thick wanker - can't fucking stand him
But you love that cripple Diaby.Merson would have looked an idiot if he had said we played well.Neville is the number 1 pundit because he is not afraid to slag off the team he only played for 2 years ago.Too many pundits sit on the fence when they come off if you have a go at them
Read the rest of my posts on the subject. I doubt Neville sits there slagging off his own team in victory. Merson might as well have turned up in his Chelsea shirt.

Nice to see you bring Diaby into the argument when we're talking about Paul Merson......really works well that argument :D

To be honest, I think he normally sticks up for the Arsenal, Alan Smith is the one who doesn't.

YOU FUCKING BEAUTY :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

What a hit from Tommy Rosicky. Although we seemed determined to sit back and invite pressure whilst offering increasingly little going forward make no mistakes that Spurs offered little beyond Szczesny's brainfarts. As LDB says it was a case of "illusory dominance".

It's so comforting to be able to say that our centre-backs are good enough to deal with that sort of attacking all day long, they were both fantastic today. Not a vintage performance by any means but fucking GET IN :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I'm glad the defence were on their game, because, with the exception of Rosicky, the rest of the team was shit.

Arteta slow and careless. Santi, his usual weak away performance. Pod gave the ball away in dangerous positions. The Ox did a few good things but a few terrible things and his shooting and finishing was abysmal. Giroud, usually decent at winning and holding up the ball, was hopeless.

I don't think there was much AW could do from the bench. If he'd brought Sanogo on he'd have been slated on these pages.

We still need a big, strong, quick DM and a top striker and preferably some pace and trickery out wide.

Having said all that. Arsenal 1 - 0 Scum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But regardless we fucking won so who cares!

People get too hung up on what the pundits have to say , who really gives a fuck!

A class striker would have made the difference today. When a team with Giroud up top on his own offers a serious threat in behind you have to ask questions of the opposition defence. I can see exactly how they got battered at home by Liverpool, City and Benfica playing a ludicrously high line coupled with a fairly unimpressive pressing game and being liable to lose the ball in dangerous areas. A top-drawer striker could have been in behind their defence a few times in the first 30 minutes and converted at least one.

Just got back from the boozer.............

Thank fuck we defended well because we were absolutely gash otherwise, Cazorla and Giroud may as well have stayed on the bus. Some of the most wasteful possession I've witnessed and yet should have been 2-3 up by half time.

. . .WHAT A FUCKING GOAL by Rosicky! . .

Can't be bothered to moan after beating them again, and this time in front of their own. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
