Southampton away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

forget the individual errors and a few poor performances, the team as a unit are not playing for Clueless anymore, the ambitious players are most likely showing open dissent to the management.
Today was a watershed moment.
Was it fuck. How is it any different to the dozens of other watershed moments in the last 4 years?!
The supporters can protest as much as they want, the club won't shift Wenger on their say. But when players start to throw in the towel there is a problem a few cheap wins won't solve.
As I said, the team look rudderless and now there are a few players around that don't owe their career to Wenger, they will be quick to give Clueless some grief.

Shit performance, shit team selection, shit tactics, shit training, shit manager. Fuck off wanker. The *word censored* will get away with it yet again because next we've got the cup and attention is deflected for a week or so. I just wish he would see sense and fuck off.

Except he didn't lose a single fucking league game in his first season, did he?

He had his faults, of course, but let's get some perspective.

Exactamondo Amigo! :high5:

Lehmann offered to coach the GK's as did Seaman - But Wenger said 'no' because they wanted to (totally) re-design the coaching programmes.

the more pressure on wenger the better - i think a loss or draw with Stoke will turn the screw too.

i can't agree with that at all.

more apt would have been to lay down and 'died' in front of him.

Bonjour Arsene! Yeah agreed, we'd have taken S'oton down if they'd had 10! Hopefully, teams like S'oton, Anderlecht and Swansea can start all their matches with 10 men. Might do better then
Hilarious as S'oton lost Shaw, Lallana, Lambert, Lovren all over the summer. Jay Rodriguez out with an ACL. Schneiderlin suspended.
Clyne, their best defender, out. Arsenal had Sanchez, Cazorla, Chambers,Koscielny and Ox on the pitch. 2 players we asset-stripped from S'oton, a combined cost of over £80m in talent there. Arsenal also had their first choice defence out there. S'oton have a manager who made a huge transfer profit over summer, and has never managed in England, who lost half his team and is in charge of a team who've never qualified for Europe in the PL era.

To hear some of the excuses therefore being made (injuries , taking results "in isolation" and most comically of all, Arsene's press secretary on here talking about needing to wait for them to go down to 10 men LOL)

And this from a group of fans being asked to pay the highest ticket prices in European football.
It's comical and tragic. Tragicomic I believe the terminology is called...

that would be Lehmann who gifted Barca the CL right ?

lets face it, wonga has never bought a solid keeper - well he did, Richard Wright but he ruined him...
I agree Lehmann was stupid but the ref could have allowed the play to continue - the ball went in - and book Lehmann.

The goal scoring opportunity wasn't denied as the ball ended up in the net

Also, the same Lehmann who was the bet 'keeper in Europe that year.
Lehmann was a liability , how can anyone rate him , i would guess you are young .
The same Lehmann that went over 900 mins without conceding a CL goal?
The same Lehmann that was number 1 in the unbeaten season?
The same Lehmann that single- handedly won us the FA Cup final v ManYoo?
The same Lehmann that made the wonder-save at OT?
The same Lehmann who dislodged Oliver Kahn from that Germany WC team in 2006?

Yeah, He's rubbish he was. Only a young fan would think that, given what he won and his contributions
