FA Cup QF Draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ike - anything to add? Our mate Robin_L clearly sees himself as the new HighburyJD superfan. Who knows he may be one of those RedAction types you've got so much time for :D
The holier than thou bullshit dished out to foreign fans who save and spend 2x-3x the cost of a season ticket to attend a few matches is infuriating and disrespectful.

I understand there are a lot of cringeworthy habits of foreign supporters (lack of knowledge, addiction to club shop, weird etiquette at matches, selfie sticks, etc.) but think how you might act if you went to a Dallas Cowboys game for your only holiday of the year.
This is unlikely to make me many friends but it's something I've been meaning to post for awhile.
Great post, agree 100%. It seems your opinion isn't valued, if you aren't English. When you point out to them that we have a statue of a Frenchman and a Dutchman outside the stadium, and that our manager is French, they struggle to come up with a comeback.

Don't think Arsenal would have even put Silver or Red selling periods down if they were not confident it would go down that far

£38.00 Adults/£19.00 Over 65/£31.20 18-20 years of age/£19.00 16-17 years of age/£10.00 Under 16 (Away Ticket Scheme members will be issued tickets at this price) - Blocks E230,E231, E232 - All tickets at this price are now sold out

£37.00 Adults/£18.50 Over 65/£27.75 18-20 years of age/£18.50 16-17 years of age/£10.00 Under 16 - Blocks E331 – E336 & E233

SO guess upper tier behind the goal is what will be left.

I think you're exaggerating a bit, mate.

On the surface, people always want to feel that they belong more than others. It happens in all parts of life; you guys might have been guilty of it as well at some point

Let me put one thing forward: Why was it so important to remain in Islington, so close to Higbury?

For me, being born and brought up in the area means that I connect my main identity (a Londoner) with Arsenal (my local club). Being part of that fabric is not something you can replicate. Nor does it make anyone exclusive: it just is what it is.

Just got 3, doesn't allocate you a seat though so could be anywhere, was £37.

£37 seems a relatively good price though.

Good. At least there will be no shortage of support - how they will get back is another matter. I only hope we make it worth the trouble.

Oh. Well I hope our tickets eventually sell out but given the problematic timing and the fact transportation is a clusterfuck it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't. Fair fucks to anyone going.
