Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think Wenger has programmed the players bodies to automatically get injured for trying shots outside the 18 yard box. We all know that's not allowed

I think he was was using shooting muscles that don't get any training - passing muscles on the other hand...

the scum shirt, wearing good for 1 scouser game prick should fuck off and do the right thing.

If he had any respect he would retire as he is fucking our midfield up. Give another player or a new signing a chance

wanker
little harsh :)

Don't waste your breath mate. There's no voice of reason to be had on here for Diaby. I've tried but most people would rather knock themselves bandy watching self styled hardman Frimpong running around like a headless chicken

Any defence you use will be met with the same old hackneyed shite about wearing a Scum shirt etc etc

Hmmmm... if only it was only the alledged Scum shirt wearing episode that can be levelled at this perma-treatment tabled crock. We, apparently, didn't sign a quality defensive midfield player (forget what Mr Knows has said about them) on the back of Diaby, finally coming to full fitness, following a half decent pre-season and probably his 25th comeback game, following injuries of all sorts. I think even you must admit, deep down, that this Ironsideesque crock has got to be shown the door, he's in the final year (I hope) and coining (or rather conning) 70k a week for repeated breakdowns... if he was a race horse, he would have been put down, and shipped to Mcdonalds long ago.

Diaby hating is very popular among Anti wengerists !

It isnt his fault he gets injured for the cause,he's not always perfect and having him and song in the same team fucked up any semblance of balance, but hes a good player ...............he just doesn't play enough ,we should wait till he has 10 games on the trot and sell him !

Steve O, we have had some good "debates" about diaby on here ( ) and we clearly wont agree on him but just out of curiousity does that scum shirt wearing issue bother you at all ? Maybe I have asked you that in the past (old and senile so memory aint what it used to be  ) but you always appear quite dismissive of this incident like it means nothing but to me and others it most def does. You can question whether the reaction would be the same if wilshire done it and it is a valid question that I am not sure what the answer would be but that shouldnt make what diaby did as any more acceptable should it ?

Another question steve.....at what point would you accept that he is never gonna work out for us given his constant string of injuries ? We may disagree on ability but the injuries are a matter of fact and somewhere along the line a business decision should be made on that dont you think ?

Bottom line is, he gets injured while having shot on goal. What's the use of such player, even if he's as good as Messi?
