Bindippers at home

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

FACT- take away a minute per goal that Giroud has scored, add the extra time per game and he hasnt scored for us in 9000 minutes  :barscarf:

Back in real time 42 goals in 100 appearences isnt bad- not brilliant but RVJP got 96 in 194 appearences. Wrighty 128 in 221 appearences but then Smudge 86 in 254 appearences for us. He is having a bad patch but had a purple on a few months ago.

We all know he isnt the best (Except OGL of course  ) but he isnt worth an itchybaba hoohaa thats for sure.

I think Giroud is a fine striker. His style however is not optimally suited to Arsenals tippy tap around the box approach however he does better than he is entitled to. While ever we play this style - which seems to be forever enduring - we no longer need a Giroud/Bendtner/Chamahk type of player and why Wenger doesn't just go out and buy strikers in the Sanchez mold is beyond me (eg Aguero - low to the ground, quick and dynamic).

Good to see Cech have a strong game.

Very good of Liverpool to wear black away kits to commemorate the lives of all the people their away fans killed over the years. Class.
