Overall very poor performance, but again Wenger got his team set up wrong, having Elneny and Flamini in against a team that has come to defend was a strange decision

then again what the fuck do i know......
Welllll he has been in the game some 30+ years now - So what do any of us mere mortals know compared to the genius of clueless.

Nah in all seriousness, just another one of those home games where the keeper plays out of his skin, otherwise we're winning that game to nil comfortably. Unfortunate.
Hmm... yeah, unfortunate not to win 1-0 perhaps but it was far too pedestrian. We simply didn't approach the game with enough energy and focus. The keeper made some very good saves (mainly from long shots) but you expect us to create more clear cut chances than we did today. Poor performance from players who SHOULD be fighting for a place in the team.

Don't think we need to see any more games from El Nenny to see he is Championship quality.
Blimey, that's very harsh to write a player off as championship quality after only 2 games for the club
Looks to me like he's playing within himself and keeping things simple as he settles into a new club in a new country. Looks a neat passer of the ball and more a box-to-box player than holding midfielder. Time will tell, but I'll certainly give him more time before writing him off.
My observation too = he also looked keen to get forward on the odd occasion making a run to get onto things but by and large was expected to let the other more experienced players shine. They didn't look interested...Walcott especially.
We didn't need him and Flamini in the middle as their was no creativity.

Couldn't give a shite if it's harsh, I will be proven correct. It's unfortunate but it is what it is.
I guess all those top clubs that were lining up for him are gutted not to get him

Oh well, lets hope we beat them in the replay.
Yeahhhh we "Should" do.
we should
...... So do you mean we "Should" or we 'Should' ????

Now we have a replay that we'll have to suffer watching them coast though without wanting to shoot. Frustrating as fuck.
Agreed. Fixture congestion I couldn't give a fuck about. The biggest disaster about a replay is having to endure another 90 minutes of misss after miss after miss, wildly slashing at every chance. Abysmal shit.
The trouble is, fixture congestion usually means were shite in ALL the games; rotation never helps us as we play the same old sideways shite from top to bottom

Alan McNally absolutely slated wally - it was the 65th minute and jeff stelling said that we will go over to alan for an update on the match from the emirates, and his opening lines was that "theo Walcott needs to be got out of here cos he is just not good enough" I think that he also made reference to the fact that wally is with us for 10 years too
Of course stelling's first words in response was that "he doesn't half talk rubbish sometimes" He defended wally by pointing out that he is an ingerland international and that he "saved" us last week so how can be not good enough Can you imagine stelling defending a player's ability by saying that he is a Greece international ? No nor can I, but playing for England automatically means that a player is good enough - why do the names Geoff Thomas and david batty spring to mind ??
