Iwobi, disgraceful.
???????
Iwobi shouldn't have played. He is still a kid so there are going to be periods where he is garbage, only natural. But now is one of those periods and he shouldn't be playing. He's had a few really poor games on the bounce and should never have started today.

Wenger just has a complete incapability to recognise bad form. He's done it in the past with Ox and Ramsey where they have played week after week after week after fucking week regardless of how badly they've played, when it would have been best for everybody for them to spend some time on the bench. I like Iwobi but he shouldn't be playing every week until he gets injured.

Lethargic, piss poor, lacklustre, disinterested, laboured performance from the off. Ox was so shit he actually blew up the could not give a fuck-ometer, a complete liability when he came on.

Iwobi was extremely poor and they got way to much joy down his flank all game. Mustafi gives me the shits whenever he has any one on one situation to deal with. I've been watching him closely with the last few weeks in order to make my mind up about him and I'm starting to get extremely worried. He's a walking mistake for me.

Penny for SteveO's thoughts when Cech collapsed towards the end. I'd say he shat a lung.

Chelsea at home was a superb display but bar that every other "tough" game we've had - Liverpool, Leicester, PSG and now after today the spuds - we've been fucking dire.

Disappointed gooner.

Well, I tried to warn you all about Spurs being a resilient team. They have conceded only 6 goals, and havent lost in the league this year. Although most of you reacted irrationally and assumed I was some sort of closet Spurs lover. When no, Im simply a realist who recognizes a good team when I see one.

you lot really need to calm your tits, really cant believe the over reaction and the slating of every player, this is an unbeaten spurs team, not a steaming pile of shit like weve seen most years, you can see from yesterday why they are unbeaten,as for iwobi yes he was shocking, the OX was awful but hes had a good start to the season, one bad half hour and everybody wants to string him up,i thought the subs yesterday made us look very disjointed and stopped what little flow we had had to that point,i hate wenger but credit him for trying to win the match at least.gutted to have dropped 2 points but we are in the mix, lets hope we can right this against man ure

Honestly Spurz are not a good team, as for some unknown reason we stood off them for 25 minutes, tell me what that was about?
Then when we decided to step it up we were over them like a rash for the rest of the 1st half.
Unfair criticism on Iwobi especially from the German who got absolutely skinned by Son, should have been on the bench as he is still developing and should not be picked on by bully boys who always seem to pick on an easy target, did some good things too.
To be honest the two sides were generally a pile of poo, not many chances couple of posts, own goal and a soft penalty by that 2nd rate centre half summed it all up.
Oh and Coquelin taken off, when in my opinion played a blinder for the likes of piss poor Chamberpot is a fucking disgrace, his look to Wenger said it all, hope he chinned him later on!.... :box:

Oh good, an I told you so. Spuds being resilient has nothing to do with us being shit. Because we certainly were. Dare I say I don't think we really created enough to feel a draw was a fair result, I thought they had 3 or 4 chances that should have been buried.

Wally had one unbelievable shot but other than that was he actually playing ? :? Early on it looked like he was trying to beat greedybayor's record for the most stupid offside runs in a single game, but after the rocket shot he was totally anonymous

Allgunsblazin, I think that your defence of iwobi is admirable but nobody is picking on him - somebody suggested last week that he makes fcuk all effort to get back and help his full back, and yesterday we seen more examples of that. I get that he is young but even if he isn't playing well, it is still reasonable to expect far more work-rate than he showed

I would also echo henry Norris's comment when he says that the scum's resilience had nothing to do with our all round shit performance - in the first 30 mins they didn't just sit back and nullify us with a defensive masterclass, cos they actually took control of the game and attacked us. They retained possession easily as our half effort efforts from our bottle jobs, never even threatened to wrestle back control of the game

Sanchez as a front man only seems to work when we play away. Yesterday Cech was punting the ball upfield towards Sanchez and every time, the Spurs defenders hoovered up and claimed possession. Not surprising considering he's 5ft 7ins, but why oh why did we persist with a tactic that blatantly was never going to work.

I was very disappointed with Theo, Sanchez pressed Lloris who passed out to the flanks. Every time it was on Theo's side he hardly moved to close his man down. No wonder Sanchez was knackered and pissed off with his wide men by the end of the game. Iwobi clearly is suffering a confidence crisis at the moment, he has bags of talent/potential but it's only natural that his form will dip. Wenger should see this and make changes accordingly.

Ramsey as usual, didn't have his shooting boots on. Just waiting for a MOTM performance for Wales next weekend now.

for all this talk of "strength in depth" yesterday just highlighted the fact that we actually have a very thin squad - the substitutions that we can make eg the OX and Ramsey are just average players. Theo was Theo yesterday. He can do it occasionally against the average sides but put him up against a good defence and you realise how crap he is.

I have maintained all season we have not had a good start to the season. We have now had 4 "hard" premier league games (Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs at home, Leicester away) and managed 5 points. Title contenders ? Hardly.

When Mourinho beats Wenger AGAIN (and he will...) in 2 weeks time we will be back in our usual top 4 struggle. Chelsea, Liverpool and probably City will start to pull away now.

look at this week - we beat a Bulgarian pub team  but yet because we didnt rest our top players we failed to beat Spurs. Wenger knows :banghead:
