Even my missus is raging over the "we were not ready for the start of the season" comment - just last week she was moaning at the prospect of having to listen to me and our sons slating wenker for the next 9 months, and yet after just one game she herself is abusing the French wenker 8)

There is NO excuse for conceding 4 at home let alone on day 1. Seriously, even a promoted side would not let 4 happen. Two average sides. 4 goals conceded at home!!! That should have seen Wenger sacked on the spot! 4 goals at home!!
FFS!!

Yes, but they won't challenge or go after him at all. They just politely listen his crap and leave him be.

WTF has happened to Ramsey inn the last 4/5 weeks? Where was the beast we saw in the Euro's, running his socks off, popping up everywhere, looking class.

It seems he comes back to Arsenal and doesn't give a shit. Why can't Wenger get the same out of him. I know it's a long season, and you can't expect him to maintain that sort of pace, but somewhere half near isn't unreasonable..is it?

Not got much else t say that hasn't been said a million times. At any other football club, Wenger would be answering some very uncomfortable questions today by the owners, I know I would if I showed this much incompetency in my job, and went into a project as woefully under prepared as this.

Obvious plays with his heart for Wales, for Arsenal who pay his wages he don't show up (hate Mourinho by the way but would he tolerate this?)
Nothing to do with heart, mate - everything to do with Coleman coaching him in his role for Wales and insisting he stick to that role. Wenger tells the likes of Ramsey to "go play your game, express yourself", Coleman tells him to play within the system or fuck off. :|

Watching Ramsey in the Euros he had a fairly free role across the middle of the park, and free to get forward when he could, but the heart and desire to win and achieve was very evident and shone through in his play, that guy gave everything for Wales
Yeah but look at how quickly he turned the ball round for Wales. He'd take it to feet, pass it and move into space. That's disciplined and whilst it gives the impression of a free roll it is still tactical and tight. With us, he takes the ball to feet and does a little twirl, then tries to slow the pace of the game by holding his pass too long, or he tries pointless unnecessary backheels, all to "express himself" which 9 times out of 10 end up with our attack getting bogged down around him or with him losing possession. The difference in Ramsey is down to the coaching and the system - or lack thereof.
Agreed Ramsey for Arsenal annoys the crap out of me...showboating and flicks, dwelling on the ball and not spotting any runners, loosing any advantage when defenders are forward or out of position
Slowing up play....then passing sideways ....no need to tell me about that :banghead:

What exactly is different this season, from the past decade? Wenger survived, despite 9 years without a trophy, and constant failures in Europe. The man is shameless, and will point to winning back to back FA cups, and finishing 2nd last season, as proof he deserves a new deal. The board only see money, and little else. Wenger runs the club from top to bottom, so id say its a rather frightening prospect(in their eyes) for Wenger to leave.

Yep Wenger will still be here next season and a few more after that. He has taken root at the club.

And if anyone finds the possibility of him still being manager after this season ridiculous, then it is no more ridiculous than him still being the manager at the moment.

This situation is beyond absurd. It has been beyond absurd for years.

As more information is coming out in the fallout of that defeat, I'm bewildered by the things Wenger is saying...
Ramsey a risk...what about starting with Cazorla or trying Akpom up front as he played and scored in most pre-season matches or playing the Ox in the middle.
Really poor decision making, really poor planning, really poor result. Even Henry was turning on Wenger. No excuses Arsenal...that defeat was solely down to you and the board.
Maybe it'll trigger some spending...but I doubt it.

its all down to the fans now - i think the media have all now turned on Wenger.
they love a big club to fail - it creates a story for them. Wenger has been lucky that there has always been another "big" club in the firing line.
well right now he and Arsenal are in that firing line.

so the fans have to boo every match now, wave placards whatever.
the trouble is all the fans that would normally do this have either been forced out of the Emirates because of the price or just can't stomach going with this absolute :censored: in charge.

and so Wenger gets an easy ride...and should he put a run together he will sign a contract extension....and on it goes

They had a chance to do this last season but decided to sing Wenger's name instead.

Do you really think that makes the slightest bit of difference? Arsenal PLC love the tourist fans. The only one who will make a difference about Wenker, is wenker!! Their is not going to be any large scale " mutiny" or " boycott". Things will only change when he decides to leave. Wenker is a dream company director for wiggie and his stooges. They aint going to kill that cash making cow. They dont give a fuck about us fans and what we want. Its about time people realised that!
