As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Just watched sunday supplement and I am actually shocked and astounded to discover that john cross has lambasted wenker He said that this transfer window has been a shambles and that the blame lies with wenker He also went on to say that gazidas and kroenke should be putting more pressure on wenker cos this should be unacceptable Finally, the shock to end all shocks, he said that this look like the end of wenkers tenure cos he is being left behind now
On a personal note, I do wonder if these comments allied to those recent criticisms of wenker by arseblog, suggest that people within the club are pushing a strategy now where arsole wenker is no longer going to be protected by the club - we all believe that arseblog and cross have been "coaxed" by the club into defending wenker in recent seasons and in return they might have been given more inside access to the club, and maybe just maybe, a change of policy by the club is now "guiding" the two biggest wenger defenders into distancing themselves from the senile c.unt
The thing is as soon as we put a run of wins together in the 'easier' fixtures John Cross will turn around and start praising Wenger again.
If the criticism by the media is sustained and not fickle after some wins that paper over the cracks, then it might be another factor in Wenger possibly not renewing his contract. We can only hope.
Koscielny this time... Obviously pre approved, if not written by Wenger:
Laurent Koscielny has vowed Arsenal will challenge for the title despite their stuttering start to the season.
But defender Koscielny insisted the Gunners, runners-up to Leicester last season, will battle for the Premier League crown as they hunt their first title since 2004.
'We are Arsenal - we fight for the title,' he said. 'Every game we play we want to win the game.
'This season will be very difficult because of the top clubs spending a lot of money on transfers, it's unbelievable. But sometimes the collective can be better than individual players. So we want to keep our philosophy and play football.'
'You could see last week we lost Aaron Ramsey with an injury and now he's out for one month,' Koscielny told arsenal.com. 'When we have a summer tournament it's the same for every other team, not just for Arsenal. I'm sure every other team is the same.
'The players come back later and need more time to be fit, to be ready for the game. Last week (we didn't play) because we weren't fit and it was important to have one more week for training to be fit for this week, and you can see, no one got injured.'
Wenger probably convinced him saying..They'll believe it, they're idiots, believe me I've been doing it for 20 years.
We are Arsenal,we fight for every game. Really, when did that start??

Boggles the fucking mind.
If he doesn't rate him, then sell the fcuker You loan out young players to get them experience, but other than that you sell players who you don't intend using in your own team. Am surprised mr economics doesn't understand that - must be something to do with no club be willing to buy our players and be expected to fully meet their wages, instead of taking them on loan and our club paying a chunk of their wage

Our new stand in captain, so no doubt Arsene threw him the armband in return for a bit of TO1AW loving
