THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Can't see him going now that season has started but can see it deteriorate to a mid table finish and his subsequent departure! Here's hoping

Am I hearing things? John 'I worship Wenger' Cross criticizing the manager?
Disappointing that there's no mention of the chanting yesterday. Was it reported in the papers? Haven't seen it anywhere

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what might happen if come January we're out of everything and shit in the league. I still think he's definitely going at the end of the season but will they get rid of him if things really get bad? We've already had the banners, the booing, the away crew going after him, the stay-away and the media turning. At some point, the board will have to pull the trigger.goonersid wrote:Can't see him going now that season has started but can see it deteriorate to a mid table finish and his subsequent departure! The ONLY way they'll get rid of him is if it begins to hurt the brand, massive dissent in the stadium for the world to see, protests outside the ground, lots of empty seats etc, otherwise he's here until he decides to goPerryashburtongroves wrote:Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what might happen if come January we're out of everything and shit in the league. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I think we're in for the shittiest start to a season for many a moon (even though Shit for Brains managed to seal the worst one since 1982 when the Stoke Three caused a storm). We won't beat Watford and then we have his much hated international break when at least 2 more players will pick up knocks. I don't think this Mustafi deal will happen so we'll be left with the Santos/Park/Mertesacker/Arteta style trolley dash and in his desperation he'll think that some prick like Draxler will compensate and blow a fat wad on someone we don't needGoonerMuzz wrote:The ONLY way they'll get rid of him is if it begins to hurt the brand, massive dissent in the stadium for the world to see, protests outside the ground, lots of empty seats etc, otherwise he's here until he decides to goPerryashburtongroves wrote:Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what might happen if come January we're out of everything and shit in the league. For the first time ever he's got at least 10 teams with the ability to spend 30m+ on a player and more importantly now a cluster of top managers and some very promising ones willing to do it, and do it well.
It won't be pretty in the stands home and away and where as a couple of seasons back I wouldn't have wanted to see the fans rip the shit out of him, he is being such an unbelievably deluded, stubborn old prick with his self righteous waffle that I couldn't give a fuck anymore. I have no skin in the game anymore as I don't bother going to games but if it does get interesting I'll be snapping up those freebies. We could genuinely finish 11th or so this season.......and that is coming from someone who has told everyone for years on end to stop worrying about the top 4 and that shower from up the road (who will probably still come 12th if it happens

The beginning of the end. Rodders - I've started believing its true. SFB can't ride this one out and in Cloughie style it will be the ultimate fail in his last year

Welcome to the dark...or should I say enlightened side now SteveO
The good ship Wanka has hit the rocks, is taking on water rapidly and she's sinking fast. See ya in Davey Jones's locker you fucking DICKWAD.
Pissing myself here at the defence being put up by the window licking ship morons who are claiming the "WE WANT WENGER OUT" chants were coming from the Leicester fans.
Fuck right off!!!! The only time I ever heard the oppo fans sininging about Le Turnip is when they've been belting out Arsene Wenger we want you to stay!
The bloodier and messier this situation gets the better for me now. Let's take this bastard out in a blaze of fucking glory. I haven't felt this pumped about life as a gooner in years. BUZZING!!!
HOUND HIM OUT

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Steve O, genuine question for you here, but where does your father stand on the arsole wenker situation now ? is he still defending the c.unt to the hilt ? I met with one of my sons coaches yesterday and he has always been in the pro wenker camp, so I asked him if he still supports him - he paused for a minute so I straight away shut him down and tell him that he shouldn't even need to pause
He started to argue that it is only two games into the season, but I pointed out that it is now 2 months into the transfer window

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I so want to see him gone but i have an awful feeling we'll get a scrappy win at Watford, AKBs will be singing in the stands again and along comes the interlul to once again relieve the pressure
The problem is that at the bowl i get the feeling the WOBs are very spread out so anytime they start chants they quite easily get shutdown by the vast amount of AKBs singing his praises, i think the way ahead is to keep ramping the pressure at the away games but as i said before i also get the feeling you'll see the Stasi appearing at more and more away games to 'help' the locals
