Wenger Out protest thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Re: Wenger Out protests

Post by Retro Gunner »

Good morning all.

Just following on from Xisstential's and OBG's appeal, for people to get the "battle bus" from Highbury to Wembley on Sunday. A lot of effort, as well as funds have gone in to arranging this and it needs maximum support. The media will love it and it will undoubtedly get plenty of coverage and exposure, so the bus needs to be full.

We MUST keep the pressure on Wenger and the Club, because imo, there's no doubt that our protests are having an effect. I still have no doubt that Il Duce will be here next season, but we are making it very difficult for them to announce it. Without the protests, I'm pretty sure that it would have been announced already, whereas now they are waiting for a couple of good results to allow them to slip it out....I can't see those results coming. The more we maintain "Wenger Out" awareness in the msm and on social media, the more chance of getting the support from the fanbase to carry on these protests, if and when he signs.

His pathetic re-jigging of the system and dropping of Hector at Boro, was, as others have said, a political nod to the fans / media and it's further evidence that he's feeling the pressure.

Please keep that pressure up and go and get on the bus. Not only will it be effective, but it will be a right laugh. I said to the other guys involved with the "Wenger Out London Tour" last weekend, that it was the best Arsenal connected buzz that I've had for years. Being amongst proper Gooners, getting the message out and laughing and joking felt the way it used to feel at games. I wasn't sure that feeling was still in me, but it clearly is.

PLEASE GET OUT, ON THE BUS AND MAKE SOME NOISE !!

It really is vitally important.

That's All Folks !

Very well put and Articulate RG :high5:

I get the feeling that Wenger and his PR team think that by slowly releasing these little tit-bits & rumours by Cwossy Cocksucker and the rest of the sycophant cun.ts that he is going to stay, that we will go away.

:rubchin:

They could Not Be More WRONG!.

That's exactly what they think. They're preparing everyone, gradually, for the announcement, either after a couple of significant wins ( :coffeespit:), or at the end of the season.

I'm guessing that they think that they can ride this storm out....let's be honest, the protests aren't getting enough support to truly scare them....and that after the announcement, we'll shrug our shoulders and accept it passively, as we always have, or the old-schoolers will fuck off as many already have. In fact, that would be a real result for them, push us just far enough to see the nuisance old school support dwindle further, but retain all the supine cretins that have been lobotomised by the Club.

As hard as it will be to maintain the motivation and determination, if he signs, these protests must not go away. I suspect and hope, that the genie is now out of the bottle and that a couple of fuck ups early next season will see the fans quickly up in arms. Rest assured, if he's still here, next season is gonna be a train wreck.

I don't know how many of you have seen this, but it is an organised Write To Wenger on the Front Page of the Forum: Link Below. Really simple send them the ( Polite) letter you'd like to send to the fraud and they'll ensure it gets to him in the form of an e-mail campaign.

If anyone hasn't already written now is your chance to 'do your bit'... :rubchin: Actually why write just once - write as many letter as you can the more the better!
