Don't expect any big name signings with Eddie Howe as manager. World class players want to know the manager at a big club is well respected in Europe, such as Simeone, Ancelotti, Guardiola etc. Wenger just about gets away with it sometimes because of his past achievements but then when the player realises he's signed for a fraud it's too late.Sean wrote:I wouldn't mind Eddie Howe. As long as he is not hand-operated by TOF.

At best we will see Wonga go upstairs and a new manager PICKED by Wonga come in, and of course full transfer control will be down to Wonga so NOTHING is going to change for 20 odd years at Arsenal....unless Kr$nky sells at some point.

Doesn't that photo say it all about latter-day TOF? Not even following the play and looking daggers at someone (fourth official, no doubt). The perspective makes him look much bigger than the players and almost as big as the stadium (which he built with his bare hands, of course).xgtdec wrote:In case you ever wondered why journo's dont call wenger out.........One of his favorite lovechildren Amy has a new book out.

Augie, I recommend a 1976 film called Two-Minute Warning. It might give you some good... ideas...
I could accept not having big name signings, as long as he could get the best out of the players we have and make additions where necessary. Not having any more sideways football, with poor defending and attacking would be a bonus.MrT wrote:Don't expect any big name signings with Eddie Howe as manager. I actually asked my south American assassin friend if he was available to do a special discount price to also circumcise me, but he said with a target that small the price is always doubled and I couldn't afford that![]()

This book has already been written by Alex Fynn and Kevin Whitcher anyway.
I'm told her Invincibles book is very good, although it's incredible and tragic that TOF turned away from that winning style to this sideways shite that we're stuck with.

Then again, it seems that he is very comfortable at Bournemouth. He didn't even want to stay at Burnley. If he can keep Bournemouth in the PL, he could stay there for the rest of his career.
He went into banter overdrive mode again today. Doing your business with three days left of a 3 month window is considered wrapping up your business early in Wanka World.“We did it [the signings of Mustafi and Pérez] quite early compared to some other clubs because we finished our job on Saturday and the transfer deadline was on Wednesday. It was earlier than expected, because it was a quick turnaround on Saturday morning, which we didn’t expect to go so quickly.”
