Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Did you guys see both Mourinho & Pep shouting at their players, waving their arms, gesticulating passionately. Wenger probably wondering who they were shouting at.... after all the 4th official isn't there, he's alongside them.
What a hopeless manager he is...tacticless!!

Wanker doesnt even come close to either Pep or Mourinho, its fucking depressing that we are stuck with that *word censored* when Peps first choice was to come to usxisstential wrote:Did you guys see both Mourinho & Pep shouting at their players, waving their arms, gesticulating passionately. A stonewall penalty against Leicester earned us a point..... a never on your life penalty today earned us 3. No doubt Giroud will claim credit for it and our mental toughness and never say die attitude will be praised to the rafters. Anyway PSG will put a stop to this "unbeaten run". Spuds banged in 4 against Stoke I cannot remember when last we have even managed a win up there....???OneBardGooner wrote:I concur to the power of infinity.Chippy wrote:NoBlood_Gooner wrote:another fortuitous win which will appease the flock. is there a luckier man than lord fartpipe in all footie?
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
TBF Xaha and although early to judge....Mustafi look good buys......BUT again Wenger has not addressed all the issues
We needed that top class striker who can score 25 goals in a season......again early to judge but don't think that will be Perez
Perez looks like a winger, and a bit lightweight...so we are back to ear cupper to score the goals.....
Real solution is of course Wenger OUT asap

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I bumped into a Man City fan at Euston after the match. He was a decent bloke so we chatted about the matches and he asked me if I think Arsenal will challenge for the title this year.
I just laughed out loud as I thought he was taking the piss but he was serious. I replied "We won't challenge for anything until Wenger's gone" to which he smiled. I said " We should've been the ones watching a Guardiola team" and he agreed.
As we parted he said "You can see a massive change straight away in our team under Pep".
That cheered me up no end . . . .

Watching the game on Saturday made me realise again what a crime is was/is that Arsenal made no attempt to get Pep.. If Wenger cares about Arsenal then he should have realised an opportunity and said "I'm finished in May" paving the way for a manager I believe was born to manage our club.. Pep has his critics and one point was always that he walked into ready made teams.Well on Saturday he was passionate but his head was ruling his heart and his joy was evenly matched by his frustration when City lost possession carelessly.. He is a winner and I wonder if he could have been ours....Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:I bumped into a Man City fan at Euston after the match. after every win that lot have had this season I have thought "that could have been us"

out of all the things that Wenger has done to piss me off (and it is a very long list) this will be the one that is going to annoy me the most in the years to come.

A bit surprised Wenger has never toyed with a 3-5-2 to be honest. He doesn't give a fuck about our fullbacks bombing forward anyway so play 3 at the back, pack the midfield with tippy-tappers galore, and Lucas 'Raúl' Perez up top with the ear-cupper. Simples

!00% spot on! Watched the game on Saturday and couldn't help but felt depressed that he could've been our manager. Instead we have this retirement home escapee who covers him with a blanket and sits there on the bench and looks totally lost. Sometimes he wakes up from his hibernation and berates the fourth official and that's it. What a contrast to modern day top managers.Bradywasking wrote:Watching the game on Saturday made me realise again what a crime is was/is that Arsenal made no attempt to get Pep..
