Bring them Sean...they are concerned about drunkeness and fighting. I told them we are NOT Lager Louts.Sean wrote:Fuck, that gave me a scare![]()

Is there any point in bringing the banners tomorrow? I'd have hoped we would be hanging them around the edge the bus so as to make our point. Plus having to sit all the time isn't great for chants or showing off the VT.
I suppose we shouldn't have publicized the bus trip publicly until today. It does look like the club are keeping tabs on the forum. Definite interference seems to be in play as with the plane.
Whatever happens, I shall be there tomorrow

Re: Wenger Out protests
Hey Mate, I had a chat to the guy who emailed me, explained who we were, told him we are not Lager Louts, apologised for some of the things I said in email exchanges last night (I was seriously pissed off but never swore) and he was really decent about it. Apparently they had a very ugly incident with our fans and the Chavs on one of their buses some time ago...He said it was MAINLY the chav supporters.augie wrote:Well done Chris![]()
First the plane was going to be cancelled, and now it is the bus .......... is it a coincidence or just part of a deliberate policy of disrupting rather than stopping the protests ? Legally companies know that they cannot cancel a booking like that, so I'm wondering if messing with the organizing of the fans to attend, is the next best thing for the club
They are worried about booze, drunkeness, fighting, swearing etc. I promised him we were not those guys (we aren't are we

The Wenger Out campaign rolls on

Re: Wenger Out protests
Quite clearly they are reading along.IW8Goalmachine wrote:This thread is dead in the water because it painfully obvious people at the club are reading
Very easy for them to do that, and I know that they read along as I received an e-mail from the Club a few years back after they had published some incorrect info. on the old History page of arse.com, and I made it public here.
Re: Wenger Out protests
Realistically what can you do?IW8Goalmachine wrote:This thread is dead in the water because it painfully obvious people at the club are reading
If you want people to join in you have to put the message out on a public platform.

I was feeling down after reading it was cancelled so this has cheered me right up again!! It's mad how a football club can do that to you.
We want our Arsenal back!!
Re: Wenger Out protests
I just get the feeling that a semi final at Wembley is not the best place to protest . I am wenger out big time but i think tomorrow could equal bucket fulls of abuse , take care boys
Re: Wenger Out protests
TBH it is never a good time to protest. I'm sure people will say while it is a possibility to get top four, Wednesday game is important so we shouldn't protest.shu wrote:I just get the feeling that a semi final at Wembley is not the best place to protest . Generally football fans are fickle, against WBA and Palace there were loads of banners and loads of Wenger Out chants. We win on Monday against Boro and suddenly there are no chants and a lot less banners.

So Wembley is a no-fly zone? They must have forgotten to tell the Chelsea fans.
An air strike tomorrow would have given us much more exposure than The Hawthorns. Should we have kept our powder dry?

Re: Wenger Out protests
The logic of not wanting to protest because it's a cup semi-final is beyond me. That means on one hand, you want Wenger gone, but on the other, you see the FA cup as more important. Couldn't it then be argued, that a manager who potentially could win a 3rd FA cup in 4 years(and would be his 7th overall) , is in line with your ambitions.

Well done Chris
nice to know our money doesn't go to waste.
I trust you get a top turnout.

No i just think that tomorrow the support will be very pro Arsenal as it is a semi final. A day of togetherness . And before you say we are all together in wanting wenger out , i think we are still very much in the minority . I wouldnt mind betting that the wenger out bus gets dogs abuse !!BFG4 wrote:The logic of not wanting to protest because it's a cup semi-final is beyond me. It's fence sitting, fickleness & apathy.Get beaten and get beaten badly and the same people giving the bus dogs abuse will be giving the players and Wenger dogs abuse. Fuck them, this is what we have set out to do and we need to stick to our guns. The people throwing out abuse will always be there... Wenger has had an easy ride of late..we need to pressure him.shu wrote:No i just think that tomorrow the support will be very pro Arsenal as it is a semi final. A day of togetherness . Re: Wenger Out protests
Don't think it will be well received by a lot of people but should protests just be planned for times which are supposedly convenient for those who oppose them anyway?
I would have thought differently if we'd drawn Spurs but think it's important to keep them going.
