What can one say about below average al ? He is without a doubt the most useless c**t we have had in our goals for the last 30 years  Sell the c**t last january ? Who the fcuk would pay money for the c**t ? :banghead:

As individuals I thought most players did ok today but the real problem was the arrogance/lack of a killer instinct. In wengerland our players are taught to treasure the ball and retain possession but more often than not it is passing for the sake of passing with no real purpose or cutting edge :x In years gone by when we would take the lead we would kill the game off either by pushing on and adding more goals or by shutting up shop at the back and these are things that these players are incapable of doing :(

Not exactly breaking news but wenger's stubborness is fcuking killing us - how many times does he need to see our B team play together to know that they are not good enough especially when the lose to ipswich and are unable to beat leeds, wigan, two average champs lge teams and now add orient to that list  Does he continue to play them together to stick 2 fingers up at the fans who slate them ? Does he continue to play almunia cos he knows we hate him ? Does he make him captain to really wind everybody up ? The bottom line is that this is his team and his players and if he cannot see how shit some of them are or cannot motivate them to beat teams from lower divisions then it is a fcuking disgrace :banghead:
From where i was stood it looked like it went through Almunia's legs, which it seems from replays it did. The guy is effing useless. No debate about that.
What I don't understand is why Wenger didn't make any subs. At 70 mins we were always vulnerable yet as usual he is far too reactive. It was a bit like Wigan away a couple of months back. You could almost predict it. The irony of all of this is that Wenger won us the match vs Barca with an inspired subsitution. Here he lost us the game by not making any.
Yeah that's right, he picks a player to 'stick two fingers up at the fans' and because 'he knows we hate him' Jesus christ you are thick Augie.

And frank, didn't Schezny get it slotted through his legs midweek, and the ball wasn't travelling half as quick.

The only thing we lacked was the sharp finishing, and we paid for it in the end. But considering we had a full 2nd/3rd team playing today ( which was necessary as the 1st choice players ran their bollocks off on Wednesday :barscarf: ) we played O.K I would be more worried if I were a Manure fan watching the shite they churned out yesterday with a half decent team fielded.

34 Lindegaard v Almunia. Never seen the Dane, Schmeicel said not good enough but nor is Manuel
06 Brown is better than Squillaci
20 Fabio Da Silva Gibbs way better
21 Rafael Sagna way better (but Eboue worse)
22 O'Shea only seen Miquel this once
08 Anderson Song 1000% better (Diaby about the same)
16 Carrick Denilson about the same both poor
28 Gibson is crap but so is Rosicky, I'd go super Tom
14 Hernandez is better than Chamakh
26 Obertan is crap Arshavin miles better
33 Tiago Bebe is crap even Bendtner is better

and if we go through the match will be 3 days before a game v Marseille
unless they smash l'OM in the Velodrome (the French have injuries to all their strikers) that will be a pressure game

We are more likely to improve the team we send out than they are...

Mate, are you kidding me? It totally different. The useless AL had time to react on this goal, while Schezny was on his way out to block the shot. Your response somehow made me understand why AW played AL again and again after so many mistakes :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

As someone who still will get in goal every so often though my timing is kinda shot now, I will handle this one.

Yes DAVID VILLA slotted the ball under an onrushing Szczesny whio was well of his line trying to challange Villa and give him less of a target to shoot at.

Meanwhile who ever this kid for Orient was made a decent run though had we one of our first choice defenders out there he probably never gets in to the area and he then shoots almost straight at Almunia on his line and right through him between his legs.

Credit to him and even fair play to Orient but to compare what happened Wednesday night with what happened this afternoon is utterly silly.

If anything comparing the two goals exposes and how they were conceded exactly why Szczesny will be our number one for years to come and Almunia will be just a legensd of the Gus Caesar variety.

Isn't this just fucking dandy, have to play those small time pricks in a ground with 15-20k empty seats. I fucking hate the whole bandwagon thing where the small team are the goodies and the bigger team are the baddies, which always appear to be us, did you hear those *word censored* doing the "same old arsenal" crap when squillaci was hit in the face? i thought northerners were left to that shit.

*word censored*.

Want an embarrassment. How can you be so disrespectful?

Are they supposed to roll over and let us win because we are a Premiership team?

Once again we have been let down by the same players, who seem incapable of securing a win against the most mediocre of opposition.
If Wenger plays this shower of shite against Brum on Sunday, anyone going to the game is going to return home disappointed.

Arsenal had massive amounts of possession, created a few half chances, and were as comfortable at 1-0 as you can be...then Orient scored and queue massive celebrations from the media..They are a small club and I understand where they are coming from on this...On Wednesday apparently Barcelona could have scored as many goals as they wanted in the first half. Arsenal's performance wasn't impressive for some pundits because Barcelona completed 3,000,000 passes to Arsenal's five. Not noted that Arsenal had as many scoring chances hroughout the game..I'm not comparing Barcelona to Orient and not comparing Arsenal yesterday to Arsenal last Wednesday and not comparing the twio games..just comparing the media reaction and how on Wednesday the best team lost because the passsed the ball five yards to each other in areas that didn't hurt Arsenal..but yesterday a team that were outplayed for 88 minutes deserve their glory because they got one shot on goal. Also the logic that Orient done what Barcelona couldn't amused me. On that logic Crawley are equal to Liverpool..Oh yeah Arsenal were complacent and casual yesterday and maybe they and not Orient or the game got the finish they deserved.

Hate to say I agree with you..we could lose this final before we play it...There were players there yesterday that don't earn the right to play for Arsenal and it's not just a question of ability.

Had Wenger brought on Nasri, Wilshire, Fabregas with 20 minutes to go, and they got injured you would have been going mental as too why Wenger brought them on when 1-0 up against a League 1 side ?

See I dont disagree with that line of thought........that team that lined up yesterday should be good enough to beat a team (comfortably) that are two divisions below them   That they failed to do so again and have failed to do so against championship teams a few times this season reflects very very badly on wenger who is clearly failing to motivate them against lesser teams :x I know some will point to the romance of the fa cup and the fact that smaller teams can beat bigger teams but imo those days have long gone due to the huge gulf in wealth nowadays and results like yesterday should not happen

I can understand the argument that wenger is so wrong to continue to make as many changes in one game as he did yesterday and we have all seen proof on numerous occasions this season that this team simply cannot function without both cesc and nasri :worried: I have to say though that wenger brings this whole squad rotation thing to a ridiculous level - as I said on here recently how many times a season do you see barca rest messi and how many times would you see them leaving out as many players in one game as wenger continues to do ? Yet somehow we are to believe that our precious darlings are incapable of playing all these games and we are now in a position where we have yet another fixture added to what is potentially an overcrowded list :worried:

Anyway as I said I lay most of the blame for yesterday at the players feet as they continue to play with a nonchalent/dont give a fcuk attitude that we have seen too frequently this season :x Fair play to orient and fair player to their players who have earned a nice little jolly up in vegas for their efforts - we are all sick of the stories about how much all the big stars are earning and it is so nice to see those players who earn fcuk all by comparison get a bonus like that 8)
