As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And from our point of view I think we should just say come back when you can prove you have the £40m that starts the bidding. Until that point there should be nothing to discuss.
As for Nasri I'm still not so sure. United won the league by holding on to Ronaldo when he wanted to go. And they were held to ransom by Rooney in a much bigger way than Nasri is doing now - and yet club, Manager and player now seem to be happy....and they won the league - again!
If we let players leave just because they say they're not 100% happy then that would probably be everyone except Bendy and Eboue gone before the season even starts.....
I agree but with the Nasri situation its the fact next summer we lose him for nothing, this should not be allowed to happen
I'm getting the feeling all the crap Wenger came out with last week about Cesc staying and keeping Nasri for the last year of his contract was just mind games, trying to force Barca and Citeh to throw more money at us...
In reality he is probably already resigned to losing both of them this summer...and probably already wanking him self silly at the thought of records profits at the end of the financial year off the back of the sales...
Xavi is now saying that he only spoke out because "Cesc is anxious that his transfer to Barcelona won't go through."The sooner Fabregas fucks off the better, otherwise the Team will suffer.
Barcelona midfielder Xavi has said he does not want a "war of words" with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger over the future of Cesc Fabregas.
Last week Wenger said the World Cup winner had been "very disrespectful" for suggesting Fabregas was suffering over a proposed move to Camp Nou.
But Xavi has defended his comments, saying: "I was only acting in the interest of Cesc and of Barca."
Fabregas was at the Barcelona academy before joining Arsenal in 2003.
Speaking at Barcelona's training ground, Xavi added: "It seems absurd to me. But that's that and I really don't want to get into a war of words with Wenger. I didn't want to offend anyone.

"I don't really know the situation but it seems they [Arsenal] are more disposed to sell this year than last year."
On Tuesday, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola said the club would "fight to the end" to sign Fabregas, after they had a bid of around £27m rejected by the Gunners in June.
Wenger has been trying to convince his captain to stay in the Premier League and fight for the title they last won in 2004.
So far this summer Arsenal have sold Gael Clichy to Manchester City and brought in striker Gervinho from Lille and Charlton Athletic defender Carl Jenkinson situation

Amen. But when you play for Barcelona, you are better than everyone, don't forget
It should be Pep Guardiola telling his players to cut out this shit in the media, because it sure as hell isn't going to be UEFA doing it - despite unsettling players being blatantly (supposedly?) against policy.
So sick of how Barca gets to do whatever they want, on the pitch or off it. They're never reprimanded, but as soon as someone speaks ill of them (e.g. Mourinho) it's suddenly this huge witch hunt. FFS I hate Barcelona!
Wenger wont spend it, but i'll still rather the money.
Allowing us to get bullied by barcelona will be another low for the club.
Mr Kroenke how nice of you to join us...or is that Mr. Hill-Wood? and whichever of you itis why the hell don't you tell him to spend the money or replace him already?

What are you talking about? It's Wenger choosing not to spend it, not the board!
